Biggest win of the season get us to 7-8 B10. Wisconsin (5-9 B10) and @MSU (8-6 B10) will be tough but winnable Win these two to get to 9-9 in B10.
I would love the team to get hot in BTT and sneak into the NCAA for 2nd straight year

Ha ha , it must have been a pru thing as I'm watching the game again and now from the start.....it's not the first time it's been a pru thing.....it really really isn't............lol...................Think I was a Hulu thing…
54 on the Hoosiers just about ripped Shauna Green's arm off in the handshake line.
Last season think they were around 41 with a 11-7 conference record and one of the last teams in. Great win by the ladies today! First time we beat Indiana since 2013.What net ranking do they need? Looks like they are at 50 right now
Never say never but think Iowa is also playing better than when we played them early last season. Think the one thing that helps us is Iowa plays at Indiana on Thursday before we play Iowa on Sunday. We beat Iowa last year playing like this; think we're playing better than that now.
Correct.Pretty sure it is Nebraska, not Wisconsin
I know! Noticed that as well. Think we got into her head a bit second half.54 on the Hoosiers just about ripped Shauna Green's arm off in the handshake line.
That's a huge spread; if I was a betting man...Never say never but think Iowa is also playing better than when we played them early last season. Think the one thing that helps us is Iowa plays at Indiana on Thursday before we play Iowa on Sunday.
Iowa at home vs Illinois....total guess but wouldn't be shocked to see Iowa favored by 20-25 points
Just a number I threw around. I could see it opening more around 15 but won't be shocked with any number unless we are single digits. Iowa has been heavy favorites at home and dominated. Ladies will need to bring the "A" game to pull the upset. Clark can score 25 or 40, gonna be about stopping the rest of the team from contributing. That's a huge spread; if I was a betting man...
Scoggin is looking for a jury trial and Nebraska said they don't agree with the allegations and will fight it. All legal mumbo jumbo and wouldn't happen before the season is over.So this story with the Husker women just broke and could have ramifications all the way up to the AD.
Former Nebraska women's basketball player accuses ex-coach of grooming her into sexual relationship
In a lawsuit, Ashley Scoggin accused former associate head coach Chuck Love of using his position and influence with head coach Amy Williams to groom her into a sexual relationship.huskerextra.com
Could be a very different team come March 3rd.
Agreed. Too much dribbling in general, always looking for a screen instead of an open player. Causes the other players to stand around and watch...Dolan looked very good. She has a nice shot and can score in the paint as well.
I wish our guards would try harder to find an open shooter or cutter insteading of putting their head down and driving to the hoop on most possesions.
JMO but our guards are ball dominant shoot first. We need a PG to run the offense. It would also be nice to see Shauna to call more plays.
Wow! So,you're telling me we could still see a Wallace/Hargrove team up next year?Scoggin is looking for a jury trial and Nebraska said they don't agree with the allegations and will fight it. All legal mumbo jumbo and wouldn't happen before the season is over.
The head coach and AD are still around and in the lawsuit, otherwise the assistant coach this happened with resigned years ago. Unless things heat up and they would suspend the coach, nothing changes this season and Nebraska makes the tournament.
Scroggin plays for UNLV and they are leading the Mountain West. I hope if both teams make the tourney they are in different brackets.
From my seat behind the bench, it seems that Shauna is constantly calling plays. Don't know what you can see from television but if you watch Cook and Bostic coming up the floor, they are checking with the bench to see what's being called. Sometimes coach has her back to the court while she confers with assistants or players on the bench and Cook basically stands there dribbling while waiting on the call. By the time the call is sent in and Cook positions the offense, the shot clock can be down to single digits.Dolan looked very good. She has a nice shot and can score in the paint as well.

Think you are telling yourself that but I like your styleWow! So,you're telling me we could still see a Wallace/Hargrove team up next year?

Illini pass east west and hunt ball screens. Part of problem is Bostic and Hobbes while good rebounders have average post moves due to lack of athleticism.I have noticed this as well
Maybe it's just me overthinking but I have always wondered why Bostic inbounds the ball on full court plays. Not saying she always does but feel like I would rather have her setup in the post and have McKenzie throw the ball in. McKenzie is not an outside threat, thrives more on movement and can get down the court to get plays setup quicker. If Shoup-Hill is on the court let her do it. She doesn't play offense in the post and can trail behind for random spot up 3 from time to time. Majority of our sets start on the right side.
I've also noticed this and wondered why. I do remember in the Maryland game, though, that we incurred three consecutive TOs trying to inbound the ball under our own basket with McKenzie as the in bounder.I have noticed this as well

If in a half court set or full court pressure the most effective person should throw the ball in. Yeah if we are going full court after a timeout or made basket I just don't get Bostic throwing the ball in if no pressure. McKenzie seems like the most reasonable option so Cook can bring the ball up while Bryant and Bostic get set. Part of it could be tempo and not changing her style with the personnel she has at this time.I've also noticed this and wondered why. She hasn't seen the court at all the last 2 games. Zero minutes vs Penn State .. Zero minutes vs Indiana. If Shoup-Hill is on the court let her do it. She doesn't play offense in the post and can trail behind for random spot up 3 from time to time.
thought it was Makira inbounding on the 3 TOsI've also noticed this and wondered why. I do remember in the Maryland game, though, that we incurred three consecutive TOs trying to inbound the ball under our own basket with McKenzie as the in bounder.
