Pretty sure that I read that Williamsville South is in the largest school division in New York.Is she playing against low level competition? Not like it matters if she is putting up 40-50 points a night. Thought I remember reading somewhere that she could have went to a Prep School and decided to stay at high school where her mom coaches instead. I know she comes from a long line of athletes in her family.
One factor in the Fahey hire was that she was on the search committee that hired Whitman at Washington University.I give Josh Whitman a ton of praise for making some homerun hires in Underwood, Bielema and Green. He hired Lovie Smith and Nancy Fahey also but at least he made a change of direction and made the football and women's bball teams respectable. The shocking part is how fast everything has transformed.

Williamsville has a large school division. Think they are split up into South, North and East. South might be the smallest but they are all big.Pretty sure that I read that Williamsville South is in the largest school division in New York.
As mindblowing as the BIG win totals are vs. Fahey, the 7-58 vs. Purdue is equally as difficult to comprehend. Those are almost on par with Northwestern football 1960-1990 era vs. Michigan and tOSU numbers.
I’m a Philly Eagles fan (yes, please boo). One takeaway I’ve had from watching the GM / ownership / talent dynamic is if a good leader has the leash long enough to take shots, the franchise benefits (so long the decision-making process is sound). Roseman (Eagles GM) has had some high-profile mistakes and maintained the confidence from Jeff Lurie (owner) to keep swinging. So many leaders are forced to make decisions in fear of their jobs, rather then having the freedom to take good calculated risks, knowing some will crash and burn. People will generally make a safe, boring, consensus choice to appease their bosses instead of the right decision. It seems like JW has a similar level of trust from the powers that be and I really hope it stays that way.I give Josh Whitman a ton of praise for making some homerun hires in Underwood, Bielema and Green.
