I haven't been this excited for a season in a LONG time! This team is light years ahead of last year's team both physically and mentally. They look confident and just don't make the mind numbing mistakes last year's team continually made.

Now we are going to see if they can maintain against some real good teams coming up. From what I've seen so far, I'm pretty confident that we can play with anybody. But we need to get everyone healthy! Will be interesting to hear from BU on Tomi. Kudos to him and staff for what they have put together! This is exciting!

Andrej played more than expected. He looked not terrible, but definitely a weak link on the team. I'm not sure he's playable against Texas Tech.
Not going to give him a chance to shake off the rust? He obviously has good handle and good feel for the game. He did try to force up a couple at The rim early and got stuffed. It seem ed like he learned from his mistakes, and got past his man and found some open shooters as the game went on. Lots of little small plays, tipping a ball here, etc as well. Hopefully a little more athleticism will return as he continues to recover.

Unplayable?

Stoj with 9 pts 5 Reb 3 ast in limited mins but forced things a bit early

Pretty good game for just coming back, looks like he can certainly give us more than just the scoring

He is quicker up the floor on the break than I expected and handles it better than I remember in videos as well, can see talent level for sure (why he was McD AA)

Excited for Texas Tech

Now...how does BU prepare these guys to play their best against a team who the "experts" think is much better than this Illini bunch? Could this be another Wake Forest game from 2005?

In a 43-pt win he finished with a -4. The offense was forced and the defense was middling. It's probably rust, but he's only got four days to clean things up. If he's playing this way against Texas Tech I'd be shocked if he gets the 22 minutes he got tonight.
