I thought Stojakovic was pressing a bit with his first few shots but settled down and played well overall. That pass to Jakstys was a great look and showed that he's not an offensive blackhole. More than that for me though, I was excited to see him show the same energy on defense that he does on offense......and I remember where late in the game he shared the rock with Jason......I thought this guy get's it
Bulkier Giorgi with a better shot.I see
Damir Krupalija ++++++

Careful, that’s some Brad-level hyperbole. There’s only one person here who said that.Everyone else, great job. Andrej will find his rhythm. Lots of people that have never hooped in their lives on this thread talking about how he’s “unplayable”. Ok, TSJ was unplayable then a few years ago after coming back- sure am glad Brad didn’t bench him.
Let’s keep it rolling. Fully healthy, this is a top 5 team.
The dipsy doodle from our 6’9” 250lb power forward tonight is deserving of some oohs and aahs:
He looked rusty and he still went for 9/5/3 with AT LEAST 3 other tips out that don’t count as his rebounds. He had one bad stretch where he forced things. Probably due to adrenaline and wanting to show what he can do.Andrej played more than expected. He looked not terrible, but definitely a weak link on the team. I'm not sure he's playable against Texas Tech.
Bolded is the key. He's way more athletic than Tomi. But Tomi thus far in their careers has been the more consistent and focused player.Losing Tomi for a few weeks may put a huge damper on the non-conference ceiling… Lots of tough games coming up. Need Z to stay sharp. Great defense from him tonight & he has such great hands for a big. He can do anything Tomi can do when he’s focused. Biggest stretch of his basketball life the next few weeks to show out.

Man, I missed the posts from The Captain.
As I mentioned in another thread...KB is the straw that stirs the drink....he was talking with Big Z during the review of Z's foul near the end of the game...couldn't tell what was being said...but I'm pretty sure it was a teaching moment and KB was keep the big guy focused....MONEY!Kylan Boswell btw. Absolute DAWG![]()
Team goes with Kylan 100%.As I mentioned in another thread...KB is the straw that stirs the drink....he was talking with Big Z during the review of Z's foul near the end of the game...couldn't tell what was being said...but I'm pretty sure it was a teaching moment and KB was keep the big guy focused....MONEY!
Is there a Gummo?
He's way better than Lieb. The difference is Jakstys can move. He runs well, is agile, and is a good leaper. And now he has some solid weight on him.Anyone else kinda impressed with Jakstys? Obviously the third man on the depth chart for the 5 spot but dude can hold his own still. Think he can do well in a Brandon Lieb+ role.
If I remember correctly he was a decent shooter as a high schooler. He's way better than Lieb. The difference is Jakstys can move. He runs well, is agile, and is a good leaper. And now he has some solid weight on him.
Boswell said these were the best two freshmen he ever played with. Either he got caught up in the moment and forgot about Jakacionis and Riley already, or holy crap we’re in for a ride.Wagler 22 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 turnovers
Mirkovic 17 points, 11 rebounds.
2 pages of posts about Stojakovic. These dudes are TRUE FRESHMAN.
Also shout out to Ben he looks ready to be an EDG this year. He's got that physical edge that was missing last year.
He's taking after Underwood.Boswell said these were the best two freshmen he ever played with. Either he got caught up in the moment and forgot about Jakacionis and Riley already, or holy crap we’re in for a ride.
Dude hasn't practiced in 2 months, give him a little time to get into the flow of the offense. My problem with Stoj is not that he was rusty, but it looked like he was trying for the stats and had tunnel vision, which led to some bad plays. The ball had to pop.
Does anyone know if Brad plays poker??? I would think if he did....dare I say......he would be Elite!
