Fighter of the Nightman
- Chicago, IL
So amazingly proud of the staff, the players and holy moly our FANS!
Driving back home after the game. Electric scene in the AH tonight. Haven't heard the home crowd this loud for a game in a long time, since maybe the IU win in 2013. Gutty W. Proud of the seniors, especially MH. Two more wins and I think we're in the Dance at long last.
If Michigan loses and we win, what is the tie breaker?
What a great college basketball game!
Great win, congrats to the entire team.
Malcolm Hill. Indeed, an Illini great. So happy for him. Gave it his all for 4 years, and not done yet. And a Weber recruit originally, right?
Miles Bridges is a fantastic player but also got some questionable calls. His NBA move and finish was great, but there was an obvious hook on Kipper on the spin. He also clearly walked at the end of the first half, a ref mistake that was worth 4 points. There was an obvious missed travelling call on Langford as well in the second half. And the pick on Malcolm included an extended shoulder.
I'll remember that Malcolm interview for a loooooong time.
Record vs. Purdue which would be in Michigan's favor.
The pick on Malcom was really close to ruining this whole night. Looked scary from my couch.
I just want to say again that this game is what Illinois basketball games are supposed to be. Loud and proud.
Izzo said he thought Illinois was a top four team at the beginning of the season.
Damn it John. Damn it Malcolm. You got me crying
