Illinois 76, Rutgers 58 Postgame

Winged Warrior

Ball movement. Patience finding shots. Protecting the rim. Cohesiveness on both sides of the ball.

I think Underwood can use the tape of this game as a flowing visual example of what he means when he said “he wanted to get old as a roster”. This was a demonstration of well coached, superior decision-making basketball.

When we pushed the score on em to 64-44, I slapped my chest and declared “WHO WANTS SOME UH ILLINOIS?!?!?”. The thing is, I happen to be at the beach in Mexico at the moment, and I got some wild looks from the locals.

If y’all don’t see me post for about a month, please call the Embassy.
