Postgame radio: BU thinks it was around +27I would love to see Coleman’s +/-
It's not going in the box score, but Dain played solid and important defense that first half when both he and Hawk had two fouls. Managed to not gain his third foul in the process while holding Cliff to 0 points in the half. No chance he could have done that last season. That's the maturity we want and need out of him.

Yep he did great getting us to the half without really serious foul trouble on the bigsIt's not going in the box score, but Dain played solid and important defense that first half when both he and Hawk had two fouls. The Illini took the Scarlet Pimpernels to school, took their lunch money, gave them wet willies, purple nurples, wrist burners, top poppers, Moe slaps, nose twisties, skull noogies, doughboy pokes, and atomic wedgies, then pantsed them, stuffed them in the home team lockers, and dared them to try to get back some of their self respect. It was a borderline dominant performance.
I think we could play Dain and Guerrier with two fouls in the first half. They aren't going to be allowed to play in the final minutes anyway, due to free-throw shooting. No reason to save them. It's not going in the box score, but Dain played solid and important defense that first half when both he and Hawk had two fouls.
