And to save his legs.Smart and mature move by Dain to slow play the season so there would be less film on him when it came time for the tourneys.
While he did play well, his smartest move was entering the game at the same time as Dain.Goode +27
I watched Minix in person at Western Illinois University that dude is a ballerSo many ways we can change the game offensively. I actually thought putting Goode on Minix played out well. Nice contributions off the bench. Dain...wow!
I've been down on Goode a lot during the season but he is hitting his groove at the best time. Couldn't be happier to seem him deliver the "Goodes"Sometimes plus minus lies. Today it didn't. Goode was fantastic on both ends of the court. Big time game for him today
And considering how bought in Dain and DGL seem, I'll be real sad if for some reason either left. The way they have come on late in the season is Every Day Guys personified. Not to take anything away from the excellent and load-bearing star performances by Shannon and Domask, but that feels like the most we've been able to rely on guys eligible to return next year, especially guys other than Rodgers.
Let the big man eatBU has always known. He has proved that with his recruits. Dain has finally figured it out on the defensive end and that is why we are seeing more of him. It also has to do with matchups.
Always a good sign when you turn your opponents’ line into stairs
IMHO, BU has a complete understanding, more than anyone else, what DD can do...if he comes with energy and focus on both ends of the floor. His lack of doing that the first half of the season was obvious. Two things keep him on the bench more than he would likely prefer...FTs and the success of the players in the 5 out offense. That will not change this season...but that offense will need revions for next year to include a DD that deeply wants to play and win.I hope Brad finally sees what he has in Dain
some of the insiders have hinted at 1-2 transfers out.....who ????......And considering how bought in Dain and DGL seem, I'll be real sad if for some reason either left. The way they have come on late in the season is Every Day Guys personified.

So is Ty..........
ditto on Goode.............
Moretti.....???....
I'm drawing a blank........not the first time today tho.........lol.....................
My mind wanders to the same places… HOWEVER: Plenty of time to pontificate on these matters during the post season, my friend.
Worries for another day.
For now, we savor the sweet taste of glorious victory and delicious anticipation for Saturday’s battle.
I mean the scuttlebutt has always been Dain and DGL, with maybe Moretti as a Crean candidate.some of the insiders have hinted at 1-2 transfers out.....who ????......

Might be welcoming him to the State of Illinois. It'll be interesting to watch Underwood's presser. He seemed to have some very good words for Preston Spradlin after the game, finished with a respectful tap on the shoulder.
