A streaming service or multiple streaming service's that allows me the opportunity to get more options for content I want to watch rather than being held back by the cable tv monopoly of years past is NOT detrimental to society or my little niche of society.......

For years I and everyone else had to pay enormous fee's for content that I never viewed or was even interested in....

Anything can be used in a negative way , but I am so old that I remember the big rotor box that turned our UHF and VHF antennas to TRY to capture content we wanted to watch , but were at the mercy of weather conditions and weak signals from tv networks.......

JMHO............
Streaming has gotten to the point where you still do all that. It's just smaller fees to a larger number of providers.

B1G road wins are GOLD.
there is a reason 3 teams are on top of the conference = road wins

That sounds more like issues with your internet provider. Why would me and thousands of other Peacock viewers not have those issues. Better check on your provider. Doesn't sound like they're up to snuff.

No one is a bigger CoHawk fan than I am. I was delighted when he got teed up last night and Brad sat him. Teachable moment that will pay dividends if he learns to channel his frustration into quiet post-play fury instead of histrionics.
Brad didn't have much choice. He picked up his 3rd and 4th fouls there. Key was definitely baiting him. I think the refs had made up their mind to T him up before the game and were just looking for an excuse. Yapping is part of his game and gets him fired up. He can be the best player on the court when he's focused. He can do things very few guys his size can do. He's got to find a balance with the talking.
We won relatively stress free, but I still felt like this should have been a blowout. There is certainly another gear in there defensively, offensively we were superb throughout. I felt the refs gave OSU the benefit of the doubt on anything close. It seemed like Bardo agreed. (Though he's probably about as objective as I am...)

The LG TV app was good last night. But most of the time the LG app is garbage. Clunky, slow. Bad.

Shannon is looking better. I think he really breaks out in the next game. I believe we will beat Nebraska.

Agree that it should have been a blowout throughout. Seemed like we didn't buckle down until we got into the second half a bit. And we let them shoot 50% consistently, which is not comforting.

I don't think he is able to turn off his emotions. What I think he needs to do is get 15 feet away from the ref and turn his back. Then he can jump, scowl, wave his arms, etc. That can be taken as frustration with himself rather than with the ref unless his reputation will still have the ref taking it as against the call.

That was a final four team tonight. Still some things to clean up defensively, but a damn good game. Build on it and let's get on a roll
It was a good win and the offense was humming, but "final four team" is a bit of a overreaction. More like a 2nd round tournament win haha. Defense wasn't all that good. Offense was great albeit against a team that is sub-100 defensively efficiency. To be a final 4 win, I gotta see our defense get more stops against a really good offense (Wisco, Purdue, at MSU) while performing at the offensive end

Domask gets so little credit from our fans for how valuable he is. He’s easily been our MVP and kept this team at an elite level!

I have always given him credit.

Here's what I see going on here. Podziemski and Domask both come from the State of Wisconsin.

Podziemski came to the Illini and for whatever reason just didn't work out.

Domask came to the Illini and for whatever reason has worked out great.

In short... Domask is Podziemski on the Illini but a version of Podz that worked out well for Our Beloved. (Not talking about every aspect of his game, just the big picture). So Domask is the fullfillment of Podz of what Podz might have been on the Illini.

Keep the Wisconsin pipeline going like that.

And several posters have commented about Ty. When I see Ty... I see a bit of Trent there. Again, not in all aspects of their game but just from a big picture view.

I like. :illinois: 🏀

Besides TSJ’s complete offensive abuse of Buckeye defenders in 2H my favorites:

1. Dain’s supple, buttery, one-handed follow. That was Baryshikov-esque.

2. Seeing Quincy drive from the top of the key to the hole in like three steps. Only I then realized it wasn’t Quincy. lol. It was Amani.

3. Ty. All evening.

4. CoHawk’s tech. Love the guy but it’s about da$n time. Glad he finally paid for his histrionics. I wonder if Brad paid the officials for that. You know, Kevin Costner stylz in Bull Durham taking Tim Robbins down a peg or two. Hope CoHawk learns his lesson so that incontinence doesn’t bite us in March.

5. Harmon = dawg

Not pleased we let them shoot 50%, but fairly solid 2H from us. Gotta tighten the D. Glad we have only one game the next 11 days.
Haha, I missed this post but I love all of it. And I was shocked to see that we actually won the first half (41-34) by more than we won the second half (46-41). I guess the reason might be that our best stretch was closing out the first half and before garbage time.

One other highlight of last evening: DGL played some tenacious D on one particular 2H possession. Ended up committing a foul but he really seemed Sencire about tough D. Hope it becomes consistent.

Ty may never develop Steph Curry's jumpshot but he can look at couple examples on the current team to maximize his abilities. Ty has already become a good free throw shooter which is a good indicator of potential on jump shots.

1. Marcus - bootie ball post game where he is almost automatic from within 8 foot from basket

2. TSJ - 3 pointers and mid range game. If teams are going to play drop coverage on Ty and give him wide open 3 pointers and free throw line jumpers I am sure he can learn to hit them.

Also, I get the feeling that DGL is getting very close to being an on ball defender who refuses to be screened. Hopefully Brad gets the confidence to throw him in there when a smaller quicker guard is cooking us. Again not saying DGL needs 30 minutes a game, but just a few minutes glued to a guys hip can be enough to take him out of rhythm.
