I really loved seeing the highlight feature on the front page this morning. Just one clarifying question: What is "Sportscenter"?
is it weird as an adult to wear clothes with the name of a college kid on it? need some opinions because this isSpeaking of which, by yesterday evening NIL store already had some new swag up based on this game. They work fast!

mirk gives glue guy à la lucas johnsonThis may have been posted already in here so I apologize if so but did you guys hear Mirk postgame yelling at Keaton :
“You see bro you see! What we drinkin’”!
Man I love that kid he’s hilarious.
I’m sorry y’all… I just could not resist going back to this interaction. I would not put it past being the single most hysterical collection of posts I’ve read on here.Just for reference...
And yes, I take full credit for being the first person on here to mention him being the FreshmanNebraska 83, Illinois 80 Postgame
I always think it’s kinda funny when teams like St. Peter’s make a sweet 16 and then we say “sweet 16 at best” for illinois. Idk By his thinking there are probably only about 6 teams that can make the S16. Going to be a weird tournament with byes in the 3rd and 4th round.www.illinoisloyalty.com

My favorite player as a kid. The reason I always picked 22. You need an absolute psycho on your team, just ask Lutemirk gives glue guy à la lucas johnson
He didn’t leave much opportunity.Watched Purdue's postgame press videos. Man are they dejected. Players said very little other than we got beat.
Painter said, I look at the stat sheet, we shot 57%, 37% from 3, 82% from the line, and turn it over 3 times. That's a win.
Until I look at the rebounding. And of course Wagler.
Fun fact, Keaton had no rebounds - do better!![]()
Reminds me of Ayo & Georgi freshman year...version 2.0Keaton's going to get the vast majority of the praise for this game -- and by all means he should -- but David had a heck of a game. TKR was very physical and benefited from a few BS calls. David stayed very composed, led the team in rebounds (tied w/ Tomi), and hit some huge shots. Was able to bring the ball up the court when they switched the defense late to try and pressure Keaton in the backcourt. Just a solid, solid game for a freshman.
I want my 1 to be cool, calm, and collected (Wagler), and I want my 4 to be an absolute psycho (Mirk). The duality of man.
I ran into Ty at the Westin in St. Louis before the bragging rights game and he said he was coming back this season. Let's hope so.One more thing about this team...Ty Rodgers isn't even back yet.
Anybody know if he's coming back this season? Because there's another lockdown defender and tenacious rebounder both offensively and defensively (And I like how he contributes to the offense...his game should be much improved).
I'd just like to join everyone reminding us fans to enjoy Keaton Wagler while he's playing in orange and blue
I think only 1 of 4 were credited as an assist to Keaton since Jake’s 3 was after a fake and dribble. Still, great unselfish play by everyone down the stretch regardless of the stats. He assisted on 2 of the 4… Jake got the assist on David’s 3 and there was no official assist on Tomi’s first 3 (he and Jake Davis made that happen with Jake faking the baseline cut and popping back out and Tomi’s subsequent fake)
The point wasn’t to take away from anything Keaton did, but simply to show that pretty much everyone that was on the floor made big plays down the stretch
Second chance points - ILL 18; PU 2. That’s the strategy in a nutshell.Next day reminiscing, for those who haven't seen these stats enough: https://fightingillini.com/sports/mens-basketball/stats/2025-26/purdue/boxscore/28506
What I noticed with Jake is that he rarely dribbles.Ben Humrichous and Jake Davis have played a combined 742 minutes and have 6 turnovers combined on the season.
