Wow, that's kind of crazy watching us play that well on the road. We looked so strong in that game, not sure what's happened to this team, but I do like it. Great defense and the fast break offense was something else. I think I will enjoy the highlights which must be a long video this time. Classy move by coach to call off the dogs from shooting much more, to avoid hitting the century mark, which was going to be easy today.

Where does this one rank all time as far as alley-oops/dunks, steals, assists, FTs, all-around great play (passing, speed, defense) are concerned? I'll never forget "Paint the Hall Orange" game (Illini painted The Barn orange this time), Ill-AZ 2005 and others.

I'm searching, but does Fox re-run games? I hope this one will be on BTN in 60 or whatever. Wish now I'd recorded it, but you never know what's gonna happen, especially when some seemed sure Illini would lose.

To be fair, Minnesota was hurting; but what a performance, Illini!

Sorry, but I'm a little giddy right now.

What a performance indeed illiniu. (I spent a few years in DeKalb.)
I mean not disrespect to Ayo but it seemed effortless for him today. It takes talent to do that.
The whole team seemed to be in sync. Loved it.

I hope Mr. Curbelo is all right. Looked like at the end he was icing/warming/favoring his neck after sliding off into the abyss.

That behind-the-back pass for an assist near the end was beeeutiful

I always considered Derek Harper to be the best, most talented Illini player I ever saw. Now, for me, it’s Ayo.
Me too, and I realized it right before the half after that beautiful coast to coast euro step. I got chills, and it came across my head that he is best ever.
...and then Trent dropped that bomb, I yelled "boom" when it splashed. Woke up the puppies. The wife was not pleased.

Steve Lavin said at halftime...." Ayo covered 94 feet in 5 dribbles , weaving through defenders like an all pro running back...." or something close to that...
