I watched both of them Arcuri did not even rated a 3* for me he was 5.45 and Robinson I would move inside to guard and he was a 3* 5.5. If I am taking some who is raw give me Coy Cronk the kid is nasty and moves well with power he was a 3* 5.6. I did note on Arcuri that I should try and find some senior tape same L Vollbrecht they were so raw. Cronk if I remember right his father played ball for us. But have not heard anything suggesting we are a favorite.
@calibear: love your tape reviews/ratings.
By chance did you ever do that for any of our walk-on OL this year? Looks like we have 4 freshman walk-on OL.. wondering if you think any of them have a shot to develop into a 2-deep type player?

At first, that was scary. Listed as an OL, but highlight film as a DE. I had to watch twice before I caught on
I wondered " why would you have a highlight film of you getting beat multiple times if you are an OL???"Looking at his current twitter profile makes me think Illinois has a good shot

It is way to effing soon to take someone like Arcuri this guy did not reach the minimum rating for me a 3*. Let him play the first 4 or 5 games his senior and see what we got first.
I am nervous about Alton as well but have not seen tape so I will look here in a few minutes to see what I can find, but his offer list leaves me wanting to put on the brakes like with Arcuri.
One dback that I loved with a very low grade from others Azunna the guy just kept flashing aggressive as hell, can see him at either safety or corner. He got a high 3* 5.75 . There is also Motely, jc Walker and Banks who might flip still out there with very good tape and grades as far as I am concerned.
It has become very clear to me the effect of this investigation is having. The school is offering a slew of kids who might be okay physically but are unbelievably raw. To the point that they will be large gambles if that is all we get.
