There is also a missing period after the phone number, not to mention some inappropriate capitalization. Who's proofreading these letters?

Probably the same person who decides that certain guys can't get admitted to UI and yanks their scholarships. :)

Seems Cupp tweeted a commitment to OSU and then took it down very shortly after.

Edit: Aaand he put it back up. bummer, although not surprising

Surprisingly, our recruiting success in OH has really gone downhill the last few years. The other Big10 teams on our level are doing better in OH & UK has really been killing it there since Stoops took over.

How is that surprising? And what other B1G teams are we on the same level than? Are IU and Purdue really recruiting Ohio successfully?

Kentucky has focused there and Illinois has switched its attention to around St. Louis.

You could say that we've put more effort into recruiting StL than in the past, but we still recruit OH very hard...primarily Ward & Golesh. We just haven't had much success since '13 class.

Writing on the wall? I like the tall DB's. Hopefully he commits soon.

When is Cerny suppose to decide again Saturday the 8th?
So Banks and Cerny are soon right.
Both have a high 3* 5.7 rating from me. What follows are the my best ranked highest hopefuls for commitment here presently.
Wr R Bryant Mo 4* 6.0
Wr H Ballard MO 3* 5.65
T J Cerny MI 3* 5.7
3 tech K McLaurin TX 3* 5.65
Cb/Fs B Banks Mo 3* 5.7
CB B Franklin Tx 4* 5.8
Fs R Walker (jc) Ms 3* 5.65
Know these are just from those I watched tape on and there are a few hole for position needing additions. Presently we were estimated to take 17 new schollies for 2016. With T Davis gone that makes 18 and I think we will finish at somewhere around 22-23 after the final migration of season ending guys leave the team.
That would be a sweet group but we need a kicker a sde and leo and at least 1 lb. My personal taste we take 2 more ol, 2 wr, 1 qb, 1 tech, 1 nt, 1 leo, 1 sde, 1 ilb, 1 o lb, 2 cb, 1 fs, and 1 k for the 2016 class. Which is all was my math or way to many players then we can sign.

Great pickup! Welcome Mike!

St. Thomas Aquinas is a great football high school. I hope we continue to get kids from St. Thomas. Here are some players we got from St. Thomas in the recent history.
2011- Justin DuVernois
2012- Dami Ayoola
2013- James Crawford
2016- Dominic Thieman
2017- Mike Epstein

Congrats Mike!! Love the talent that this staff is bringing in at the RB position but I am a little concerned about the lack of size. Need to mix in a little thunder with all this lightning.

Sounds like a good get for Illinois. Lets hope we have a good year to make sure he stays committed.

Anyone else think Epstein would be a good Dude K #2? I just get that feeling that he will be a fantastic slot receiver.
