We were, he's from Peoria and we wanted him pretty badly. We also wanted Kyle Bosch, who is from Wheaton. Maybe Harbaugh doesn't like Illinois linemen, although he has a couple of them left.

I think the read on the situation since his latest trip to Illinois is that he's waiting to see who else will get involved if he gets close to qualifying, if nobody else grabs his attention, he'll gladly come to Illinois.
I love dual-threat QBs. I hope Cubit utilizes his hand-picked QB recruit to make the offense have more dimensions (assuming BC is still around when Eli is our lead QB).
This kid can really throw the ball-Can't wait for this QB to arrive.

Illinois and others (Nebraska, MSU, Northwestern, Purdue) are picking up interest in Rochester (IL) 6'5 185lb junior wide receiver..Collin Stallworth. I'm a bit of a homer as I'm from Rochester but I really like this kid. He's barely tapped into his potential as he hasn't played much football in his life but he is very athletic , a jumper, good speed, great hands and body control. Putting up big number in the Rochester offense and is just starting to put things together. Just a name to keep an eye on going forward.

Saw that Minnesota offered Amir Watts, the Chicago DL prospect. If I recall, we had to back off because it didn't look like he would get into Illinois.
I highly doubt BC will still be here when Eli gets here, let alone when he takes the starting role.
Does he play basketball too? They had a really good sophomore guard who seemed to be about that size
