Heard they are transferring in a Thomas DiVeto from an NAIA school. Really accurate, can run it when needed.
really ? thats a HUGE step up . pretty rare in FBS for that to occur. I think Fejelem played at St Xavier for a year or two, they were NAIA at one point in the past. not sure if they went to DIII . I think they did
does time spent playing at NAIA even count towards NCAA eligibility ?

Weird how? It's a coach he likes at a bigger program. If he decommitted from Cincinnati because he wanted a bigger team and conference for more exposure, it could just be the right set of circumstances for him.

I don't like it because it doesn't feel great for our chances, but I don't think there's anything suspicious about it
Have a feeling he had an idea Fickell was leaving Cincy when he decommitted.

If true would be an awesome pick up. We have seen him play lights out
Mertz. Great arm talent. Bad decision making. Had a very poor group of WRs to work with at wisconsin (imo).
Fits the bill of what I was told earlier today. I still think it’s someone else. I’m meh on Mertz. He’s OK, didn’t have a great line this year. Doesn’t do well when the pocket collapses.

Bielema hates turnovers and he is going to bring in a QB with 26 career interceptions and a completion percentage that has receded every year of his career? I don't see it.

Bielema had quotes in the media calling DeVito a "gun slinger" and meant it in a bad way but he never had more than five interceptions in one season. Mertz has never had less than five interceptions in a season and hit double-digits the last two years.
