Plays for former UI (and Morgan Park) 4* WR Chris James
I had to laugh seeing you refer to Coach James as a 4* WR. Kind of like seeing someone having high school valedictorian on their resume 10 years after graduating college. Guess those recruiting stars stay with you forever. No dig at you Simeon Rice, I just found it funny.

Yep, he was a pretty big get at the time. Zooker was in some decent Morgan Park recruiting battles, Demetrius Jones went to ND, and they had a big OL (Ray Ray Johnson, or something like that) that went to Tenn. And, pretty much neither of the 3 had major impact on the college level

we wont steal high rated 3 stars from OH from O$U or scUM, but we can steal them away from MSU, PSU or 75% of the SEC schools

It's obvious the staff is pivoting to more recruiting in Ohio
Ohio is fertile. I remember hearing something about Kentucky football and them making Ohio a priority over the state of Florida. I looked and they have around 11 guys from Ohio and are more than competent in the SEC the past few years. I'm not suggesting we forget Florida, but I'm all for invading Ohio. If I remember correctly the Zooker did well in Ohio for us.
Another thing about Kentucky football by glancing their roster, it seems they more than take care of their home state.

What about the 24 class in illinois? Looks like we are focusing in Fl and Ohio with futur visits. TySean would be a great pickup along with Hansen from ESL. Who are the top 10 in Illinois?

Ohio is maybe the best recruiting state in classic Big Ten country. I seen some Ohio HS football on TV while back and some their teams were pretty good. These teams would not be terrified of playing against the powers in Texas or Florida.

Being terrified and being talented enough to compete are 2 different things.

I’ve seen some of these big boy Texas HS football teams in person and it’s absolutely ridiculous. These texas teams are culturally and systemically created. If Ohio schools aren’t doing the same thing, they’re working from behind.

Zook managed to get a few five stars if my memory serves me right. Will Beliema be able to pull any in the next few years?
