Assuming that we get Hollinger, looks like the remaining needs are
1) 1 RB
2) 1 more Edge
3) 1-2 more DBs
4) Could always use another lineman
Guessing we'll have right around 20 commits (9 outgoing seniors + 4-5 in the draft + 4-5 outgoing transfers)
Was just thinking about this, 4-5 more scholarships seems right. There are few seniors on the team. I’m guessing we see a much higher amount of transfers after this season than last year.

Pretty much gave up on commenting on basketball topics and started hanging here and women’s B-ball. Much pleasanter, on topic, and fewer people looking for a reason to be offended by every post!Raise your hand if you ever thought you'd see Illinois Football recruiting as an escape from Illinois Basketball recruiting.

Part II …
As with everything, when it comes to Illinois sports, it matters if the Illini are ranked highly, and it's irrelevant if the Illini are not ranked highly.I don’t put too much stock in the recruiting rankings. Bret is excellent at talent evaluation and player development.

Still looking for those 5 star players that elevate everybody around them
Jeff George
Rashard Mendhall
We're getting some good recruits, but Caleb Pyfrom is my favorite of this class so far. A big O Lineman, best lineman in the state of Nebraska, and the Bret & Bart combo get him on board for us. That's just perfect.
Lightfoot …. Your table is set …..
Hollinger and Pyfrom were a package?!? Hehe,
