Supply and demand as well. I’d wager more guys exist that can LS than those who can kick.Is the skill required for a 7 yard snap accurately equal to or greater than the skill required to kick a ball 40+ yards accurately?![]()

This is what I was coming to say. I bet we have 10 guys on our roster who could long snap with a tiny bit of practice.Supply and demand as well. I’d wager more guys exist that can LS than those who can kick.
I’m not sure what you think NIL agreements have the power do? NIL agreements do not and cannot prevent a student athlete from transferring. It may void the agreement. But it’s not prevented. That’s what I don’t understand. It has to be that the schools either had crappy contracts, which I doubt, or they don’t want to go after the athletes. One case that rules the athlete has to honor the contract gets this sorted out. Who will do it first?
You referenced us taking 3 Wiscy DLine transfers last year. Taking one player vs 'raiding' a unit is a pretty easy distinction to make.Brunner is an All BIG guard and former 4 star. Hefty statement to claim he wouldn’t be an upgrade.
They are all afraid that they will never sign another player if they enforce a contract. That’s what I don’t understand. I wonder if a starting QB under agreement leaving a school like Washington mid portal period might be a clearer case of actually damaging the school than one of many DL prospects leaving UGA?I’m not sure what you think NIL agreements have the power do? Rooting for ISU at the end of the FCS championship game was a sad reminder of the many benefits of above-average special teams play. You need it when everything hangs in the balance.how many bad snaps can we tolerate? seems like a bargain.
Now that's some quality H2O....how much does the water boy get ?
we cant have the team getting sick every week if the Gatorade jug isn't sanitized properly
I agree, I saw over the weekend that we were expecting a visit from a Miami (Hurricane) player. But he has at least another game to play. How does that get worked out? Especially since he may or may not want to join our team. Do we hold a spot, just in case? I would think not, unless a deal has already been agreed to. It appears to be a HUGE disadvantage for players still in the playoff.desperately need dominant defensive linemen. Im satisfied with the portal pickups so far.
Possibly. Ive played center for 3 decades and cant long snap for my life.Is the skill required for a 7 yard snap accurately equal to or greater than the skill required to kick a ball 40+ yards accurately?![]()
I think we still need at least 4 starters IMHOWe need 2-3 difference makers on the defensive side of the ball still. If not 4 or 5.
Totally agree. DE, LB, OLB, CB and…. *drumroll please*… Kicker lolI think we still need at least 4 starters IMHO
Hopefully one or two could be our own guys (X, Tomiwa). We need 2-3 difference makers on the defensive side of the ball still. If not 4 or 5.
How Tomiwa? Pretty sure he entered the portal.Hopefully one or two could be our own guys (X, Tomiwa).
Getting X back would be huge - I think it makes a ton of sense for him to come back if he's not going to be 100% for the combine and pre-draft process and right now he's projected as a 5th rounder. If he comes back and is first team all big ten and plays like he's capable, he will improve his draft stock and get paid a lot more cash than he will on someone's practice squad in the NFLHopefully one or two could be our own guys (X, Tomiwa).
He deleted the post and BB mentioned in his press conference yesterday that there are a few players that entered that he’d welcome back. He’s likely one of them. So maybe not impossible he comes back. How Tomiwa? Pretty sure he entered the portal.
I need to see that game filmPossibly. Ive played center for 3 decades and cant long snap for my life.
Also, I played 3 years of D3. I should have eligibility.....think they would be willing to take a 38 year old 6'2" 310lb Center for 75k?
I have recent game film against random garbage men, forklift drivers, and security guards from all around the Midwest lol
