aahhh, the wheels just came off a bit mid-round. 13-15 destroyed us +10 as a team and we lost by just a stroke. had to card two +1, that was the difference.

Solid effort but just not enough.

great tourney by Crawford, what a difference a week makes, and the pressure of playing in the top 5. Good for him!

I have no idea what the lineup for the fall finale will be. Herendeen and Buchanan seem to be safe bets. Hunt, Goecke, Crawford, Wilson, Voois and Ji. Need three, any guesses?

I’ll go Hunt, Voois and Crawford.

If he was just choosing his top 5 I think he goes with:Max/Jackson/Vois/Crawford/Goecke but I know how these situations work and there will be a qualifying process most likely. Almost all teams have ways you can secure your spot in the top 5 and then a series of qualifying for the remainder of the lineup. Particularly when you have a logjam at the backend. To be totally honest I have a team preparing for a state championship in golf and I am struggling with who to take as we speak, today is a qualifying 9hole match. College coaches almost universally save spots to keep practice competetive. So those last spots, at least one of them, will be a wild card.

Other matches are Auburn vs. Pepperdine, Arizona St vs. Stanford and Georgia Tech vs. Texas.

Illinois fell 2-1 to the Vols in foursomes. All close matches, with Buchanan/Wilson getting the win. Next up is Stanford in fourball, looks like the teams will remain the same.

Unfortunately they don't post updates until the matches are complete, so not much to follow along.
