Can we take Goodwin and Lewis? If that is the case Aaron Jordan will leave in my honest opinion.

Jordan is the 3pt shooter that every team needs. I think he earns a lot of playing time his Jr and Sr seasons. He has a great shoot and once the game slows down for him he'll be a big part of the team.

I love AJ and enjoy watching him develop. Agree that by his Sr. Year he's going to be a super stud.

AJ would be a Jr when those two are Frosh. Also as Rob has always said, AJ knows that you have to earn playing time and compete to get it, so I don't know if he would be scared off by competing against a couple of frosh when he is a Jr.

These days it should never be a surprise when player with limited playing time transfers. That being said, it doesn't seem right trying predict who that person might be before the season even begins. Hell, maybe that's just me being pc. ;)

Unless you have a freshman class full of 5 stars, you win championships with veterans and freshman contributing at like 10 mins a game. Goodwin will surely command more tick than that but Lewis probably won't, but there will be plenty of time to split among JCL, DJW and AJ with Damonte and Javon maybe ready to contribute, maybe not.

Jerry Meyer flipped his CB for Terrence Lewis this morning.

I'm in the CB being little more than a marketing gimmick, albeit a brilliant one, camp. But Meyer usually has a clue, so this is very good news. Hopefully, Groce can reel him in.

In case it isn't obvious, I love Lewis' upside.

Also, all the recent good news has undoubtedly improved Groce's stability. Obviously, the team has to prove itself. But I think good news from a recruiting standpoint, especially between now and November.

Also having the legal issues all resolved helps. It is one less dark cloud looming over the program.

The Crystal Ball is such a click gimmick.. Not saying Lewis won't end up at Illinois, but right now he isn't all that interested in Illinois and is focusing on a handful of other schools ahead of Illinois.. at least if you ask Terrence.

Terrence Lewis – 2017 – SF – Playground Elite
One of the fast rising prospects in the country, Lewis found a way to help his team to a come from behind win over a tough Illinois Stars IBA squad. Lewis scored from all three levels while contributing on the glass and making things happen on the defensive end of the court. On an opening night the featured a tough matchup of teams playing hard on both ends, Lewis stood out and had another solid effort in a victory.

Lewis made it look easy in Saturday’s win over Illinois Old School. Scoring a game-high 22 points, Lewis got about any look he wanted and made the defense pay by burying a number of open triples. A strong, athletic wing that’s only getting more skilled with time, Lewis is becoming a consistent scorer at all three levels. Lewis might be a wing, but he often plays like a big. A tenacious rebounder and aggressive driver, Lewis is rarely, if ever, outworked on the floor and not only puts up star-like numbers, but does the dirty work for his team as well.

Another great article about Lewis. I really hope the Illini can get him locked up ASAP before blue bloods start getting involved. Looks like his ranking is going to skyrocket based on his recent play.

I'll agree to a point. The crystal ball really isn't reliable until a guy is getting ready to commit. However, Jerry Meyer wouldn't change his crystal ball based off of nothing. Additionally, it's pretty hard to trust any "insider" on this board.

It sounds like you are saying that you did ask Terrence? Who does he say is leading? Thanks for the inside scoop.
