He never has. To be completely honest, coaches are really having a hard time evaluating how good this kid is going to be at the next level.
We had a couple of kids in my (home) Illinois county who averaged 33+ points and didn't really make much of a dent in Division III.
From watching this kid's highlights, I would not bet that he's Big 10 calibur. Novice talent evaluator that I am, however, I couldn't really tell how successful Zion Williamson was going to be when he played against a local Class A (smallest of 5 classes) opponent here in South Carolina. The competition is just so weak, comparatively. I believe Zion scored 35 points that game, and his Spartanburg Day team won by ~30-40 pts. Roy Williams and Brad Brownell were on hand --- and so they obviously knew, as did Coach K!
This will be a very tough call.
