How did Effingham's Grant Wolfe do? I've seen him play a few times this season and he's their best player...and the real deal at that as he is averaging over 20 points per game. In case you are wondering, he has already eclipsed the 1,000 point mark.Central won by 18. Tim can shoot some. He hit a few threes with some coming off of a screen and on a catch shoot during ball rotation. He didn't force anything and was content to pass it if he didn't have a good look. He played with a good motor even when up by double digits late in the 4th quarter. He also got his share of rebounds and had at least 3 blocked shots. He also had a few steals as well. I figured he would have made more free throws, though. He shot maybe 60-70% from the line.

If he doesn't get recruited by a college, I would be shocked. He's only been a handful of players this season that really wowed me.
If I have a night off next week, I'll be watching Champaign Central in Taylorville. Would like to watch both Finke's in person.
I will definitely be there at Dolph Stanley Court. Just look for the major dork of the Midwest. They play Wednesday at 7

Should I be reading anything in the orange tinge in Tilmon's hair? I know KL, KN and TA had done that this season. Not sure if that is an Illinois specific thing or if it is more common across the land.
My orange Kool-Aid make me all delirious thinking that is his subtle way of saying he will be an Illini.

I thought I'd read here that he's not a good run-jump athlete?? He sure looked explosive on that play. Though his arms are so long that he doesn't need to jump that high to throw it down. Still, he got off the ground very quick.
When did this happen? I must have missed that?
Maybe that's what's holding Tilmon back. Wants to get through his season.
I'm from the metro east area and have seen Pickett, Goodwin, and Hill play several, if not most, of their high school games, IMO, Pickett's game is very similar to Malcolm's at East. Neither are great shooters, but they can knock down open looks. Neither are exceptional athletes, but they can both dunk in the open court when they have momentum going towards the rim. They are both hard nosed kids that create contact and score a majority of their points from the FT line. They both have a solid mid range game. I think Malcolm was better at this point in their careers than Javon, but there are overwhelming similarities in their games.
Three letters: OBJ.For all the college bball I have watched this season, this style looks to be the new rage for whatever reason this season
