Conditt is intriguing because he's just getting used to his body. I've seen criticism that some of his movements are awkward. Well duh, the kid grew 6" in a year. His movements might be a little awkward now, but they're still fluid and athletic. And he can only improve as he gets more comfortable in his body. Comps to Anthony Davis are too easy, but you can see why they're made. He doesn't do it with high-flying athleticism, just length and skill.

I think most posters here know better than to assume anything about recruiting, but it's true that many here are bullish about Ayo. My default and fatalistic position is to assume that we will not land any of our 5-star targets until there is ink on the page.

In the event we miss on Ayo, we're going to hear people come down pretty hard on Chin, similar to what we heard about Walker after Tilmon fled.

Definitely not best case scenario but I'm sure everyone here would gladly take it.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised with any mix of the below players

Conditt vs Castleton vs Sow are going to be the main 3 we see at the 5 spot with Castleton vs Conditt seeming to be who most people prefer. (Not including De Sousa bc there doesn't seem to be much there right now but obviously he would be the top choice here)

Ayo is obviously our top choice for PG

SF is where things become more confusing- Ignas, THT, Finke, DJ, Hellems, are all pretty much up in the air and probably preferred in relatively that order (however Finke keeps moving farther down the list for some people)

Thanks, I would love a Ayo/Conditt/Stewart 3 over the others, Nolley the new name doesn't look bad though.

I agree that DJ should be our number one target on the wing. With his NBA athleticism in BUs uptempo offense, he has the highest ceiling

With all this talk about winning recruiting in chicago or at least getting your share maybe BU might have to make them realize he doesnt need chicago which is the reaon for all his out of stte offers he has made

Would take Hellems in a second after viewing that video clip. After that Peach Jam showing he would be a fantastic get in the '18 class. I'm sure he'll have a ton of big majors after that performance. He and Ayo and a big (Condit?) would make this an incredible class!

OK, let's suppose you could pick any 3 from the following players and they would sign. Who do you choose ? Just for the fun of it, pick a 4th in case someone would transfer out.

Ayo, Conditt, Castleton, Sow, Stewart, THT, Finke, De Sousa, Hellems, Ignas, Pearson, Hinton

Ayo, Stewart, and Finke. Plus add in either Conditt/Sow/Castleton and you have a class.

Truly believe that we will take 4 for '18. Staff knows what they're doing.

Yes. With all their targets I do not know if they will offer him though. Definitely a backup option.

I have heard that if Romeo Langford does not go to Loui$ville then they could be an option for Ayo.

I would hate for the situation with MSU and Brian Bowen to happen with us and Ayo.
