This may be a dumb question looking at the bracket, but do the teams come back and play again this evening?

On the bracket it looks to be the case, but i wasn't sure if anyone else was more familiar with this tournament.

Yes, quarterfinals and semifinals are same day if you are referring to collinsville.

Thunderous slam by Jeremiah Tilmon.

Tilmon runs the floor on the break. Catches a pass in stride & quickly whips it to Hargrove for the flush.

Man, will the #Illini love to have a 5 who can get up and down like this. Doing well to slide over & contest too. Things they don't have..

Jeremiah catches the feed off the backboard for the oop. Wow.

ESL wins 93-75. Jeremiah Tilmon finishes with 21 points. Made plays on the glass & defense. Some of best I've seen from the future #Illini.

After the FIRST quarter:

Althoff 28
East St. Louis 23

Goodwin 12
Tilmon 10
Hargrove 6

East St. Louis does not give the ball to Tilmon near as much as they should.

OK, time for ESL-Althoff, but this game was incredible. Danville beat West Aurora last night by 1 point on a last second shot and that was the only time they led. Tonight they dominated Curie.

Danville beats Curie 71-55. Kendle Moore scored 36. That was one of the more amazing upsets I've ever seen. Vikings dominated.

Danville stuns unbeaten and top ranked Curie 71-55 behind Kendle Moore's scintillating 36 points. Best performance I've seen all season.

How about this Kendle Moore kid? Pretty special performance for him. Where does he rank on the 2018 pg list in Illinois? I'd have to assume top 3 or 4. Looks like that is a younger Danville team.

I don't know where he ranks. Last night he looked good but not special. I'm not sure if he's this good or if he just channeled his inner Keon Johnson tonight.
Amazing when you consider Curie beat ESL and Althoff on back to back nights earlier in the year and beat another top 15 nationally ranked team out of state. Tonight Moore was a heat-seeking missile. Steals, passes, shots.
Mercy.

Yeah it took me about 5 mins to realize they weren't showing highlights

:thumb:I was watching this afternoon and it took me longer than that to figure it out. Kept refreshing, thinking it was a previous game's highlights.

Had a chance to ask coach if he was offering smith after the game.

He said here's the phone call coach groce and laughed. Shook his hand super nice guy.

Michael O'Brien ‏@michaelsobrien 22m22 minutes ago Danville pulled this off without key player Caleb Griffin. He's one of the best FG kickers in the country, left today for an event in FLA.

This is the kid who hit the game-winner last night. Is Lovie interested in him? I don't follow football recruiting that much (other than to know we're doing pretty good so far.)

Smith looks like a prototypical PG that could provide stability at that position for our program. Unless he is slow footed, his size and ability to drive appear to be very good at the next level. He has a good shot and him going for an alley oop off and inbounds was pretty impressive. Describing him as "raw" is inaccurate, comes in with skills. After seeing the Maryland game we need ball handlers and guards that can defend. Damonte, Trent, TJL, and Smith could form a solid core at the PG/SG positions.

I believe Estes is committed to Mizzou and plays QB. Not sure he is projected as a QB at the next level or an athlete that will be converted to another position. I believe Illinois is interested but not one of the guys they are currently going hard after. Sounds like ESL is souring on Mizzou overall .
