How tall is he now? I remember reading he needed to grow a couple more inches to really project at the next level.

I would say 6'5, maybe 6'6. He is incredibly athletic for a sophomore. He either needs to grow 2 inches or really work on his perimeter game and ball skills. I was really really impressed with his athleticism today!

looks a big, strong kid.

Unrelated note, what a waste of real estate behind the baskets in that highlight film. shooting nightmare.

Having played there multiples times I can attest to the shooting nightmare. I would never get used to shooting there.

Jeremiah Tilmon has good (quick) footwork on the block for a guy his size. Just showed that off with spin move + dunk. #FutureIllini

East St. Louis up 27 points with 6-plus to play. Jeremiah Tilmon going to the bench. Sort of doubt we see him again.

FINAL: East St. Louis 68, Riverview Gardens 47 ... Jeremiah Tilmon finishes with 16 points, 11 rebounds & 5 blocks. #FutureIllini

Paris Parham is here at Collinsville watching edwardsville and Mark Smith. East St. Louis plays next. Pickett played right before so he is hitting them all today.

Same. A couple times during the game, the crowd could be heard criticizing the game. Lincoln coach told crowd to let him coach the game. I didn't hear the coach, a reporter posted that on Twitter.

There's a reason Coach Alexander is one of the greatest coaches in the state. He has a style of play that is hard to prepare for and his players will be the most conditioned team ever night. You wont wear down a Lincoln team and you better know how to break a press.

Typical Lincoln basketball.

Edw up 16-11 at half. Smith 1-2 from 3, 3 points.

If you mean find a way to compete and win consistently without the best athletes night in and night out, yep, typical Lincoln basketball. Teams don't like it? Stop it. Stop the press, defend the arc.

Edwardsville Lincoln game was terribly boring. They combined for 8pts total in the 2nd quarter. Edwardsville never seemed to be in any danger of losing.

IHSA should adopt a 30-second shot clock. The extreme slowdown offense works, I get it, but yuck. No disrespect to any coach that figures out how to overcome athletic disadvantages to build a winning program - it's just painful to watch.

This may be a dumb question looking at the bracket, but do the teams come back and play again this evening?

On the bracket it looks to be the case, but i wasn't sure if anyone else was more familiar with this tournament.

With no other info other than looking at box scores, we should offer the older Payton kid from Bloomington who had to transfer to Olympia for his senior year. Anyone that can drag that school to a 12-2 start and a semi-final of the State Farm Classic has to be good.
