Why describe it as signing and not sent in? Couldn't possibly be holding a presser to say he signed a NLOI to UI but didn't send it i and hold it up signed, saying I will send it in in April provided Groce is still there.

I agree that's most likely. But like so many others here I can't allow myself to believe it until it's official. I suppose it had to be this way to overcome our recent history, sort of like the insane Game 7 earlier this month.

Usually they try to not ruin a commitment announcement which is not what tomorrow is about since he is verbally committed to Illinois. When Pickett, Williams, Frazier, etc turn their papers it, the news says it right away, not awaiting the press conference that afternoon (if that's how it plays out for them. Some of course sign at their presser but we know that's not going on here).

More than enough if he can keep recruits coming in... and seeing as hes hot on instate PG's coming up I am very hopeful. Seeing the development of Tejon is going to be fun (As an aside)

I know this was crummy for us fans, but big picture? It could be good that it's going down this way. If Jeremiah goes on stl TV tomorrow and picks illinois over SLU and Kansas it sends a bit of a message to other preps in the area that illinois is cool.

This will make it much more enjoyable for me to go watch estl vs althoff at the Highland shootout. I'm going to have to fight back urges to yell out insults about slu being in a mid major conference, lol. Am I a child? Probably.

Now I hope groce goes out and takes Gordon away from SLU, give ford a taste of his own medicine, lol.

Interesting timing. As I was reading this I walked by a fellow Illini plated car with RSKYBZ as the tag in my parking lot. Awesome. If you're on this board, you forever have my admiration.
