Great points on Tay and Jay show regarding the 2017-18 w/Tilmon. Would be so solid at the 4 with Finke/Black with Finke possibly playing some center. Would still go hard at Epperson, great fit for Groce offense and he could back up Tilmon and Finke for 1-2 years. If that falls through, go hard at a 5th year big transfer in the mold of Thorne or McCallum.

Alex as Alex Trabec from Jeopardy. Jalen James and Michael Norris were PG commits that had no business being recruited by Illinois. From what I remember, Jalen James verbal was basically null and void when Groce was hired. He chose Jalen Tate instead, who was an upgrade from James. Norris followed Weber to KSU and was over his head. He then transferred to NIU, which didn't work out well.
