Meh, CBs are clickba... Oh wait it's FOR us? All hail Jerry Meyer's crystal balls!

I disagree. I have been watching the crystal balls since their inception. I literally think Jerry Meyer has been right on every recruit that Illinois has battled over.

I think it's huge and I'm 50/40/10 Ill/ISU/X

Nick Irvin was on Werner and he sounded like he would be thrilled if THT joined Ayo at Illinois.

I like how on 247 the Crystal Ball predictions for THT are 25% chance that he goes to Michigan State and 12% he goes to Georgia Tech when his top 3 are Iowa State, Illinois and Xavier.

Edit: Granted they have Iowa State at 50% which a lot of people are saying that's where he'll end up at.

Chicago Elite Classic at UIC Pavillion on Dec. 2nd has Ayo's MP against Finke's Champaign Central.

Based solely on crystal balls, Illinois is dead even with MSU.

Not really hip on CB, but Meyer generally makes an accurate guess, with that said, things looking more promising. Talen's visit might have been very good. His interaction with the squad and student input the kicker. Would be awesome way to end the month.;):illinois:

I agree....Crystal ball predictions I take with a grain of salt unless it's Meyer or Slater...they are 1 and 2 for accuracy and evidently something has turned in our favor,,,with the remaining 3 all scheduling in homes the worm can turn many times before Thursday....

Just a question, as I really have no idea..

But IF they are really in the dark and have no idea, wouldn't you think they still make the trip especially with an in-state, high priority recruit.

Recruits generally tell coaches one way or another their decision the morning of their announcement (at the latest). Guys like Piper and Werner find out about the decision almost immediately, which gives them plenty of time to make the trip up for the announcement. Trust me, they’re not left in the dark, and generally only attend if it’s pro-Illini.
