Say what you want about CBs, but Jerry Meyer is better than any insider on this board. I'll take the pick as a good sign.

Andrew Slater from Devil's Den had the first CB pick today, and he has a similar record to Meyer.

BTW, according to 247 we're actually thinner at the 3 than Iowa State or Xavier, so maybe PT isn't a big factor.

So despite no matter what happens with THT on Thursday whetner or not he commits to Illinois, we'll still have 1 scholarship left. Do we wait for Tim Finke to commit assuming he still wants to? Also does Tim Finke play the 2 (SG) or the 3 (SF)? Rivals has Tim listed as a SF where Scout/247 have him listed as a guard (SG).

We all love the stuff. We are days away from having landed Mark Smith, AYO, and now THT? Get real, remember when D Will didn't want to play with Dee Brown? This is going in the same way. At the end of the day having both on this team is going to be unreal. THT is going To be a very good college player. THT will come to Illinois, this is going to be dope. We have lit the fire. This could explode with a THT commitment and both kids would have to know this too. I think they are both coming and we are going to dominate!

Does anyone know if there is a book/books out there about the insanity of College basketball fandom...maybe in relation to recruiting. I'm sure there would be some pretty funny stories to go in that thing.

i know this isn't anything to do with the current drama but I found it interesting. Every year Cokumbia College, a local small college plays the Juco Verge went to. Figured it would be a chance to watch him. He was in dress clothes for game. Violation of team rules. Not the start those that are rooting for him were hoping for. I know coaches for both teams. Verge has been killing it in practice but I guess he went a little overboard celebrating his birthday.
