Not trying to downplay him as a recruit because he is very solid but B1G ready is a bit of a stretch. He needs to put one ~20lbs, which Fletch should have no problem doing as he looks to have the frame to carry it.
Duke, UK, and UNC all had better classes in 2019 and 2020. Pulling in 1 top 20 recruit every year doesn't make you a blue blood, pulling in 3 every year does.

They've had their 3 best recruiting cycles ever the past 3 seasons, 2 of those they were behind the big 3 blue bloods anyway. Before that they were barely cracking the top 100. We just have a much different idea of what a "blue blood" is, because I think recruiting is 50% regardless of performance on the court. Gonzaga has thrived over the last decade by being old and staying old, now they are coupling that with pulling in top 10 recruits, very well could start matching Kentucky in the coming years, but I'd still doubt that.

I checked 247's recruiting database and by your definition nobody recruits like a blueblood. Duke and UK each pulled in 2 top 20 recruits in 2021. Nobody else, except Michigan (also 2), pulled in more than 1. UK and UNC pulled in 2 top 20 guys in 2020. Duke pulled in 1. The last time UK pulled in 3 top 20 guys was 2018. The last time Duke did it was was also 2018. The last time Kansas did was 2013. The last time UNC did it was 2006.
Before going pro became a thing UK and Duke were pulling in more than 3 a class. But it's more about consistency, Villanova is probably closer to that than Gonzaga.

I was 5’10” 145lb. when I started my sr. year of HS. Two years later 6’ 165lb without lifting anything heavier than 12 oz. I’m guessing it shouldn’t be too hard for him to add some mass with the professional training available.
I had a similar experience my first two years of college. Although I hope his diet will be more diverse than the 4 food groups of my college diet. (Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Beer, and random items from a vending machine)
I'd wager to the kids they're recruiting they are Bluebloods. I also think they are recruiting the pieces they need based on ability, effort, position of need, very well. Doesn't hurt being in the title games recently either.
