Gentry was a horrible recruiter, Chin was overrated and not worth matching what UK offered, and OA was heading back to UK regardless. By all accounts it seems like TA is worth the bidding war. Just hope it isn’t trumped by his relationship with Payne (as Indy mentioned).

Me: Ugh, rough way to end the season but the program has momentum. Good class coming in and may add Skyy Clark which would be huge! Looking forward to an offseason of good news!

IMO, would be best for Lieb and BBV to leave. No playing time likely because I don't think they are P5 players. Best for Payne to go too if Kofi stays because his PT would be rare as 3rd-string center, which he still might be if Kofi leaves and we add a big. Kofi the main question; can't see Grandison returning when he can make nice cash in Europe.
Feel confident he stays.

Jeremy Wahman of Cardinals Sports Zone has been tweeting about Anderson being a possibility for several days. He’s a Louisville lifer, former member of their football team, and has been writing on Louisville sports for years. Just giving you that background so you know that this isn’t just some random fan on Twitter. FWIW, he’s also mentioned Joel Justus, Nolan Smith, Yasir Rosemond, George Felton and Milt Wagner. No enough slots on staff for all of those guys, so we’ll see.
Lieb’s future is either in business or coaching. Staying at Illinois helps him with both. No reason to leave. He is 7 footer that can help prepare for teams that have centers that shoot.
Not sure what leaving will do for BBV. He is perfect for the role he plays. Not everyone is going to be a star. He gives 5 more big man fouls. It is not like he is going to head to a mid-major and dominate.
Get the F out. How do we constantly get poached when we finally have a solid staff. I was praying for others to take our head coach and all assistants during the Weber and Groce years.

Whatever Tim Anderson wants, just give it to him. Recruitment is rolling. We need stability. The fanbase can't take another off-season with a two-month-long assistant coaching search. Nip this in the bud immediately.
Unless he is told they don't see a place for him anymore. Read, we need your scholly for someone who will be in the rotation.
