The posters who prioritize Freshmen minutes above all else right now
Rebuild =/= RetoolLol at the people who think this is a rebuild.
You mean like Coleman Hawkins?Well we needed another solid 5 before BBV entered the portal. Now we need two with at least one of them being a big body for more physical centers. Or one big 5 and someone that could play both the 4/5 spots.
Depends on who the transfer is?What are we pitching to transfer bigs right now? That they're going to start over Dain? That they'll back up Dain? Or that they'll compete with Dain for a starting spot?
Guess that's the question I was really getting at. Sounds like we're looking first to guys who'd start or compete to start ahead of Dain, but ok with someone to back him up if that doesn't work out. Am I interpreting that correctly?Depends on who the transfer is?
People are really selling Clark short. He’s most likely better than anyone on last years roster not named Kofi.Lol at the people who think this is a rebuild.
Yeah, always looking to upgrade. Staff loves Dain though and have no problem if he’s the starterGuess that's the question I was really getting at. Oh well, I call it a rebuild because I define it basically on what is returning. Not sure what number I'd put on it, but with over 80% of our minutes and points leaving, that for me is definitionally a rebuild. But others might have a different definition.Lol at the people who think this is a rebuild.
Well… it kinda is. Only this time it’s with a very solid foundation.Lol at the people who think this is a rebuild.
Yes but more of a 5 than a 4.You mean like Coleman Hawkins?
You are right, it all depends on your definition. RJ, Goode, Hawk, & Dain have all been in the system for awhile. The coaching staff obviously has a really good idea of what those guys can do. All those guys will have significant roles and presumably be a part of our 7-8 man rotation. I think all of those guys will be ready for the opportunity.Oh well, I call it a rebuild because I define it basically on what is returning. I personally LOL at anyone who thinks this isn't a huge challenge.
It's kinda funny as a number of people are high on our chances in conference next year because so many teams are losing a lot (presumably going to be challenged)
We must forge storm breaker... Only Bryce Hopkins the dwarf can help!
Anyone who watched the Illini score 33 points against PSU knows better...When someone says: to win a championship, a great offense is more important than a great defense. What they're probably not saying: defense isn't important.
