If you look at the slo-mo, this is clearly a party all around. I know Nicolas means business but this is just long hair...
Now this is a mullet
You can see that this young lad has cut his hair shorter in the front. He clearly is only doing this because he has a business deal to attend but the long hair in the back suggests he just wants to enjoy some adult beverages and a nice lady from the bar.
And the sooner the better.

Well , the second day of a new recruiting thread and it has me pondering AGAIN !!!!!!!!..................These 2 days haven't exactly been barnburners , to say the least........and that has me pondering AGAIN about the efficiency of daily or weekly threads........
my pondering has risen with my increased gummy bear intake and mixing vodka and or whiskey into the mix........i also have quit adding soda to my liquor and surprisingly my hangovers have almost evaporated too.......I was told by my friends that soda is what gives you a hangover but I decided to try without soda and I am a convert.........i still use ice cubes as my growth plates are still open and my neck height has shown a modest increase......
We could have another addition to the NL brood as we have placed NL # 2 on a probationary period..........................
She has a nice attitude and seems to fit in with the NL way of life , but I need to becum more aware of her quirks and desires.......I can already tell you she is soo much fun to interact with ,,,,,More to cum in the Old Age thread in a day or two.........
I like her brashness and attacking life with a open approach ....................I really really do.........................
Don't teams get a say in who gets invited to the combine? I would think if there were teams seriously interested in drafting him, they'd request he get an invite so they could evaluate him. Doubly so if they were going to guarantee him they'd use their pick on him. Is there something I'm missing here?

Florida state kid looks like a less athletic KD. I don’t know if a less athletic KD works in the league because his athleticism is what allows him to be so skinny.
Kid is clearly extremely skilled for his size though.
Butler is a strange player. I don't know how you can shoot 39% from 3 and 44% for FTs. It looks like he really only focuses on shooting the 3. Strange to see a 7'1" player take half of his shots from beyond the arc and only average 3 rebounds.
To be that level of basketball player and only shoot 44% on free throws is crazy to me.

Pure speculation, but maybe a team (with a late second) already knows they want him. If they bring him to the combine, they run the risk of other teams paying closer attention to him and maybe selecting him before they have the chance.
Not the best logic, because all the teams are watching the G-League camp but that's really the only thing I can think of.
Yeah, I did think of that, but I'm extremely skepitcal that a team would be that protective of, and that sure of (to the point they don't need to see him in the combine), a guy they wouldn't use a 1st round pick on.

I guess we'll just have to wait til June 1st to see if he stays in the draft and then see if he gets drafted.

For some odd reason, after seeing the clip of Butler Jr., and knowing that players of his size and quality, are still in fact testing draft waters, I'm feeling a little more at peace with the search of front court depth. We all just need to stay patient and trust that BU and TA will come through in the clutch yet again!
