I very much appreciate what the insiders have to offer, and hope they continue sharing information. Do I think they stir the pot sometimes to get a rise out of this board? Absolutely. It makes me chuckle that many on this board treat the insiders as infallible Gods. That said, I think DM'ing insults to them isn't a good look and is very unnecessary. However, at the end of the day, they aren't on the coaching staff or part of the DIA, and they should be open to criticism on their takes just like the rest of us.

Dming anyone insults is insane. None of this should be that deep. And yeah, anyone taking someone's word here as gospel is doing it wrong. But the word of people that have been proven right more often than not certainly holds more weight than most.

Side note … But for all the people who are messaging me saying I don’t know what I’m talking about and my info is bad … If you wanna call me out on the board it’s okay, I can handle the criticism … I’m sorry that my info on the 1300 kids in the portal and where they’re going isn’t 1000% accurate since they’re 18-21 year old kids that change their mind every other hour and I don’t have the time to sit here and update you guys on it … But be my guest at keeping track of all this stuff and talking to hundreds of people every day … Me, and others on here such as @illini0440 & @DB11Headband & @LvilleILL and many others that know who they are give you guys info for free … We aren’t getting paid to be here … So please just enjoy the info as we get it instead of being critical for the few things we do miss … Thanks! Don't pay any attention to those morons that are messaging you. 99% of us on here appreciate what you, 0440 and DB11 bring us. We know that things change on a dime and you can't possibly keep up on everything and keep us posted to boot. I always look forward to what you guys post. Even if it is sometimes encrypted, I understand that you can not always share the information you get. Rock on and thank you for your posts.

Yes. This IS the new way to 'Build a Program'. And it's going to be so long as the current College Ball environment exists.

And for all those who believe that the new kind of ball environment is some kind of atrocity... how about this? This is just like back in grade school gym class when two guys got to be captains and they would alternate picking the best guys to be on their teams.

You pick your guys... you tighten up your shoelaces.. and you PLAY BALL. And the better team wins.

This is basketball at its most basic. Back to the roots.
