Feel like MSU would be a better fit. Either way following a HOF coach is tough. Could see Cal jumping to Kansas. Oats would make some sense following Self but not sure with all that SEC money he would leave even for Kansas. There is definitely an upcoming big time school shuffle like when Roy went to UNC and Self to KU.

I’m sure there are quite a few guys on here who share this info with their young kids or even some younger guys/girls on here who love the Illini and recruiting in general that just don’t have the $$ to pay for a subscription …
Also a quick story I got from someone on here and I won’t out who they are but they shared this with me not that long ago … They said that they along with their father have been illini fans their entire life but didn’t always see eye to eye … Hadn’t spoken in years … Well their fathers health was declining and they decided to try and make peace … And every week this person would go in to see their father and talk to them about the things that were talked about on here from me and many others … Players we might add, who we were recruiting, etc. … If I had dropped a “boom” gif recently … I mean it’s stories like those that make me really appreciate this place we’ve got … Theres always going to be negativity in life but never forget the impact you can have on people you don’t even know …

I would be stoked if we got two. I feel its likely we have Hawkins, 50/50 on TSJ, unlikely on the other two. I do think we get Hawk and Ray J thats not listed going from what I've read here and if it is best for Shannon to return then thats a stout, experienced core to go along with our two other transfers. Its solid regardless if Shannon stays since i am confident we will have options in the portal.. BU wont make the same mistakes going into this season.

The interesting name on that list is UMass. I’m sure Frank Martin has heard the good and the bad about AC from BU. And if I remember correctly, Martin does not take a backseat to Brad when it comes to yelling.

Fun fact: AC had exactly one game last season where he didn't turn it over -a win at eventual national champion UConn (0-4 from the FT line though).
i hate hearing that with the point guard and shooting issues we've had, not sure its improved.
I forgot Bardo could speak, given I stopped listening to any game he’s announces due to ear bleeds.
IMO, that is the least likely scenario for the two of them.

If you are concerned about PG and shooting issues, why are you upset that we may not get an elite 5?
I believe he meant our starting 5 (as in our center) is already on our roster...not that our starting 5 (as in the 5 starting players) are already on the roster.
