I asked for further explanation to Ant’s response. I’ll post if he replies.
Yeah if he does get the chance to showcase his skills he will have to beat out 1 of 3 Dain, Hawkins, or Shannon. And beat out Goode and Rodgers for minutes. If he does all that he does deserve some draft talk. I hope the poster is right and not Ant.

Well, I'm throwing my hat in the ring. I went to school today and hit 47 out of 100 3's. I have no problem passing and getting us in the right reads, but im taking every open 3 I get.

I can "air tag" sincere to jump in and play defense on the other end.

I'd be a grad transfer and can use my remaining veterans grant for tuition and not take up any scholarships.

I'm assuming they think he won't get enough minutes yet to show that off. Which is maybe what he is saying in the response you screenshotted? He wasn't really clear there
Very early to prognosticate how his game translates to the pros without setting foot on a college court yet and I get that. I can’t wait to see him and Morez playing together.

Seems strange to pick a kid that’s ranked around 60 to be the 4th pick in the draft after one year of college. Am I missing something?
To be fair, the guy posting this has 4k followers and is a “aspiring scout” per his Twitter bio. Also, he’s not saying he’s a top 4 pick. Just 4 players he’s projecting as potential first rounders next draft season.

Idk why people are arguing with him he’s right. Amani is going to have to put in serious work for whatever minutes he gets this year
Not seeing anyone arguing with him. Obviously it’s a dogfight for minutes at the 4/5 position. Good problem to have. Honestly, I hope he sticks around through it so we can see the tandem of him and Morez the following season. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ant is a good follow on Twitter. Michigan man, but not a homer. Good basketball mind, and very interactive with his followers. I’ve had interactions with him myself, seems like a good dude with good, unbiased knowledge.

Funny how people were calling Epps the next frank mason , now fans are saying Harmon will be a upgrade lol, Epps would avg 30 at Utah valley
I wish that he would have stayed around and developed in the system, but he could also give up 30...

I agree with this. I called out earlier that Underwood has only ever played an 8-9 man rotation. Looking a little closer he also only give 2 bigs more than 10 mpg. So this season we have 4 bigs, which is very rare for us to even have on the roster with Dainja, Hawkins, Guerrier, and Hansberry. I'm willing to bet 3 of these guys get 10 mpg+ but I don't think all 4 will. So who is left out Guerrier or Hansberry?

Strange problem for us to have, honestly. Usually we have this issue in the backcourt. In this new portal world, I hope Hansberry is mentored and used to his fullest potential and he sees the benefit of another year in the system past this coming season.

I think AH's offense will be good to go as a freshman, but I think his minutes will depend heavily on his defensive ability. Like Epps, that is the problem for most freshmen.
