I remember getting the Sunday Chicago Tribune to get all the Illini recruiting news. Usually wasn’t much but every now and then they would drop a nugget. How times have changed.
He went to 9 high schools and committed to 3 different universities per wikipedia....

I wish the system was different though, with more constancy, more persistence. More trust and more 4 year guys. But ... that is a dream from the past, sigh. The staff reacts to the realities of life, as do the young men who play for or consider playing for the Fighting Illini. We fans and alumni are beautiful dreamers
wait we're going after Dior Johnson? really hope we pass on him if thats who you're alluding to. went to like 18 high schools and has off the court issues.

He's matured ... Knows this is his last go around ...
There are a lot of teams in on him ... It just isn't as public as other recruitments ...
Sometimes it's not the kid choosing to move around ... It's people moving the kid around and not giving the kid a choice ...

just out of curiosity, are these same people moving around the kid still involved? and I just don't feel great taking guys that pleaded guilty to something like that. would love to be proven wrong though.
So what odds would you put on this recruitment?
Taking a dude who pleaded guilty to beating and strangling a woman would be a brutal look, no?
