Did I read somewhere before that his dad had played in the NBA?Family are big Illini fans. Keep an eye on this one.

Former Olney kid correct?
Is this the kid we started recruiting in the 7th grade?Yes, that is correct ... Made the move to Evansville Reitz in the summer ...
They still have decent Christmas lights at the fairgrounds for free! Other than that, not much going on.Olney...home of the white squirrels. Went to play college ball there back in the 80s. Not sure about now, but not a lot of action in that city back then lol
Agree! I work in the big city of Olney. Good Friday football games, couple good coffee shops and hopefully two future Illini in both basketball and football. Jaylen took the area by storm in grade school while he was here. They still have decent Christmas lights at the fairgrounds for free! Other than that, not much going on.
Still the same.Olney...home of the white squirrels. Went to play college ball there back in the 80s. Not sure about now, but not a lot of action in that city back then lol
I'm unsure why you think Goode is the difference between a tournament team or not?If Goode were to walk, I'm going to be behind fascinated to see how BU puts our team in the tournament next year. If he can pull that off, I would be impressed beyond words.
I'm trying to enjoy every second of this year.
The goal would be to replace him with a better player, but you never know how guys pan out. If it were always a sure thing, Skyy and Epps would be tearing it up here and there would never be such a thing as a draft bust.I'm unsure why you think Goode is the difference between a tournament team or not?
If he leaves he is going to be replaced by a better player.
That is a big freshman.he's pretty good:
We are gonna be tough to beat in this one ... VERY tough to beat ...
The blue bloods will come eventually ... But we started putting in the work on this one last summer and have not let off the gas ...
To be clear, I "liked" your post to say thank you for the good information, but I really "dislike" it because Duke is dookie.I am from Olney and have talked to a few friends about him. Scuttlebutt is his family loves IL but his dream school is Duke. How many times have we heard that one over the years?
Frankly I love it. Freedom of movement is a good thing. Tearing away the power of the NCAA is a good thing. Illinois's ability to adapt to the new world being better than other teams is a good thing! The only constant in life is change... Adapt or die.
YesIndy not asking for any names but are there players already that have reached out to the Illini coaching staff that have interest in transferring that you have heard about.
Blink twice if two of those names are Darcus Momask and Serrance Thannon Jr.
See Post 118 in this thread.. No chance Shannon is coming back.Blink twice if two of those names are Darcus Momask and Serrance Thannon Jr.
I was going to to extend the joke to include Coleman but his name is borderline for this site playing this game.

Absolutely ... We are always active ...
There are also guys on the current team who have been in communication with the staff about their plans for the future ...
Portal season is here ... Along with coaching carousel season ...
Brad must’ve heard all the b1***1n’ about a PG
