Am I the only one who thinks Galloway just announced he is transferring to Illinois?

Ya I don’t get the Storr hate either. His coach got fired at St. John’s, and by all reports Gard is a jerk. So why not come to the beloved, get paid and put on the TSJ plan?

He committed to this program during one of our peaks and has seen Underwood and this program maintain that same level since then. I think his respect (and coachability) will be much higher in Champaign

Would love Storr. Give me all of the big wings who can get to the hoop. Just shocked because (a) didn't the staff ghost him a couple years ago? and (b) he seemed especially cold in the handshake line with Brad last week.

I'd be fine with Storr coming if he takes average starter money. I'm not OK with him coming if it costs TSJ money.
The good news is that there isn't some real salary cap! I mean, obviously, there sort of is, because there probably is a somewhat limited pool of NIL, but I think it is pretty obvious that we have people in place that will pony up for real talent that BU and Co. want/need.

Sorry, don't want Storr, AT ALL. If you are mentioning/comparing Storr/Epps/Clark as comps.... duhhhh. That is an obvious PASS. We can do MUCH better than Storr...... And I believe that we will.

We’re good on NIL. We’re number 1 in the conference now. We could realistically pay a player whatever they wanted. That won’t happen though.

New Trier really had some bombers, including a 6'3" Soph shooting 64.4% from 3 on 118 attempts. I just have visions of Sean Harrington dancing in my head. If you can hit 40%+ from 3, and not be a complete liability on defense, there is a place for you on my team.
That's Christopher Kirkpatrick, an amazing young talent. Because he is from New Trier, he will probably attend Stanford or an Ivy League school.

Honestly nobody outside the athletic office really knows what "TSJ money" is. Even if it is a ton, who cares? We're not paying it, and I highly doubt this staff is going to blow their entire NIL budget on one guy. If this year proves anything its that Underwood likes having a shelf stocked with lots of dudes with different and complimentary skill sets.

I think Indy said it was high 6 figures. But I agree. I like the fact we seem to have an NIL structure in place, otherwise everyone will keep asking for more. Way better than throwing 7 figures at a kid like Bronny James, who's production isn't worth anywhere near that

This is bananas even in the CSL.

Are we in on this kid? I know he's only a soph but at that kind of clip I'm surprised this is the first I'm hearing of him.

I'm all for adding Storr to this roster. There was a reason he was committed here in the first place. Brad knows what he's doing.

Really have thought a rim protector guy was a must transfer but liked Dain’s recent performances. Most underestimated Hawk’s improvement and maybe we are underestimating what Dain can achieve in another year. Certainly like to see him for another year.

well I should have called out, that is assuming the stats on the IHSA website are accurate. They had 3 guys combine to shoot 48.8% from 3 on 488 attempts.

I'd like Storr a lot but also would hope there would be more additions to come.

Having Storr as more of a 2nd/3rd option would be a good team. I'd be incredibly excited with a Domask return, Storr, a certain big playing in Omaha, and a guard.

I get it, we're not paying it. But there definitely is a finite amount of money so any $$ that go to Storr are not available for other players that we might want Brad to recruit.
