Am I the only one who thinks Galloway just announced he is transferring to Illinois?

Ya I don’t get the Storr hate either. His coach got fired at St. John’s, and by all reports Gard is a jerk. So why not come to the beloved, get paid and put on the TSJ plan?
Prefer Heard over PhoenixPhoenix isn't Kendall. It's gonna be alright. Parents support their kids. Kendall bleeds O&B
I'd be fine with Storr coming if he takes average starter money. I'm not OK with him coming if it costs TSJ money.Ya I don’t get the Storr hate either. His coach got fired at St. John’s, and by all reports Gard is a jerk. So why not come to the beloved, get paid and put on the TSJ plan?
The good news is that there isn't some real salary cap! I mean, obviously, there sort of is, because there probably is a somewhat limited pool of NIL, but I think it is pretty obvious that we have people in place that will pony up for real talent that BU and Co. want/need.I'd be fine with Storr coming if he takes average starter money. We’re good on NIL. We’re number 1 in the conference now. We could realistically pay a player whatever they wanted. That won’t happen though. The good news is that there isn't some real salary cap! That's Christopher Kirkpatrick, an amazing young talent. Because he is from New Trier, he will probably attend Stanford or an Ivy League school.New Trier really had some bombers, including a 6'3" Soph shooting 64.4% from 3 on 118 attempts. I just have visions of Sean Harrington dancing in my head. If you can hit 40%+ from 3, and not be a complete liability on defense, there is a place for you on my team.
^Gonna land some really good players once again this offseasonWe’re good on NIL. We’re number 1 in the conference now. We could realistically pay a player whatever they wanted. That won’t happen though.
Honestly nobody outside the athletic office really knows what "TSJ money" is. Even if it is a ton, who cares? We're not paying it, and I highly doubt this staff is going to blow their entire NIL budget on one guy. If this year proves anything its that Underwood likes having a shelf stocked with lots of dudes with different and complimentary skill sets.I'd be fine with Storr coming if he takes average starter money. Because it would impact the team's abiility to get other, better players.Honestly nobody outside the athletic office really knows what "TSJ money" is. Even if it is a ton, who cares?
I think Indy said it was high 6 figures. But I agree. I like the fact we seem to have an NIL structure in place, otherwise everyone will keep asking for more. Way better than throwing 7 figures at a kid like Bronny James, who's production isn't worth anywhere near thatHonestly nobody outside the athletic office really knows what "TSJ money" is. Actually it's Danny Houlihan. The NSYNC member shoots a paltry 44.4% from 3. Though he's the teams top scorer and probably best overall player. That's Christopher Kirkpatrick, an amazing young talent. Because he is from New Trier, he will probably attend Stanford or an Ivy League school.
This is bananas even in the CSL.New Trier really had some bombers, including a 6'3" Soph shooting 64.4% from 3 on 118 attempts.
After the way Brad put this team of players together, I think he's earned the right to have us just sit back and enjoy whatever managerie of multi-talented men become Illini next year. What a beautiful blending of talent he's given us this year!^Gonna land some really good players once again this offseason
well I should have called out, that is assuming the stats on the IHSA website are accurate. They had 3 guys combine to shoot 48.8% from 3 on 488 attempts. This is bananas even in the CSL.
Are we in on this kid? I know he's only a soph but at that kind of clip I'm surprised this is the first I'm hearing of him.

Haha, I actually was getting ready to google to make sure that was the N'SYNC guy's name, though I thought it was!Actually it's Danny Houlihan. The NSYNC member shoots a paltry 44.4% from 3. Though he's the teams top scorer and probably best overall player.
I'd like Storr a lot but also would hope there would be more additions to come.Would love Storr. Give me all of the big wings who can get to the hoop. Just shocked because (a) didn't the staff ghost him a couple years ago? and (b) he seemed especially cold in the handshake line with Brad last week.
The only reason I knew that was from his mention in an Eminem song haHaha, I actually was getting ready to google to make sure that was the N'SYNC guy's name, though I thought it was!
I get it, we're not paying it. But there definitely is a finite amount of money so any $$ that go to Storr are not available for other players that we might want Brad to recruit.Honestly nobody outside the athletic office really knows what "TSJ money" is. Riiiiiiiiiight. The only reason I knew that was from his mention in an Eminem song ha
