I seem to recall a whole lot of doomsdaying last April and we came out just fine. I trust the staff to construct a dang good roster and to get the most out of them. We’ll be fine.

So everybody is freaking out about people leaving, but 11 pages with no proof of anything/anybody! Jesus, we are in mid-offseason form already. It's gonna be a long 6 months

I have never seen the word “kerfuffle” spelled out until now. Seemed like something I should share.

Only Goode took a greater percentage of 3s than Booth did. Because Booth just lived on the perimeter, he only took 41 FTs. So it's not much of an oversimplification. And if you are going to live on the perimeter, you better shoot a heck of a lot better than 29.7%. The guy looks to be an elite athlete, which makes me say even more, what the hell are you doing on the perimeter?

The hope would be, compare Soph Hawkins (he didn't play much as a Fr) to Fr. Booth:
Hawkins - 19 mpg, 5.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.5 apg, 44.2% FG, 29.2% 3pt, 65.0% FT
Booth - 19.9 mpg, 6.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 0.5 apg, 39.1% FG, 29.7% 3pt, 63.4% FT

Full disclosure, I am not and never was a Coleman fan. He made a remarkable jump this past year. So if the staff can do the same thing with Booth they did to Coleman last year, ok. But that was an extraordinary improvement.

We didn't see anything from Amani to make heads or tails out of his value. He was either injured, got 911 minutes or got garbage minutes. We don't know anything about Amani, but that's what the portal has turned college ball into. They leave before we actually see them perform. That's a replaceable commodity.....I think?

Is it not better to give 2 studs 500k each vs. 1 player. Keeping in mind filling roster holes, team chemistry, and hurt ego's. I'm just shocked that college players are getting 1 million for one season. I rather take Boswell, Maddux, and a legit 5. Roster done. Now if we have millions in the tool box grab them all. I really worry about chemistry.

The transfer here is not NIL motivated ... But he is going to get his fair share ... He will be top 3 in NIL on the team next year ...

Unless Domask or Hawkins come back ... But if either of those come back ... We have individual donors who have said they will cover their NIL themselves ... So that the staff can recruit under the salary cap without having to worry about holding anything back just in case ...

Agreed with this. Booth already said he wants a different offense where he isn’t just shooting 3s. Wants to run the floor and attack off the bounce. He wouldn’t just be a spot up shooter here
