We need some rim protectors, Hansberry is going to be a stretch 4 and I would assume Morez will be developing into a stretch 4 as well. Who are we looking at for this role?

On the assumption that people actually work for a living, I anticipate less chaff and more wheat on Monday morning. That might be wishful thinking.

Let me see if I’m getting this right.

So for the last year we’ve had people complaining about this team needing a point true point guard. Today we signed a guy who was is a 4 star transfer and was a 5 star coming out high school (ranked in the top 25 in his class). Oh and he lived in Champaign for part of his life.

And something like the last 10 pages on this thread are focused on a guy questioning insiders and I don’t even want to touch what’s going on on the Coaching Carousel thread.

This board is insane. People need to relax, be patient, and hold their complaints about the roster and staff until at least May.

Carry on!

I’m convinced that Illinois is the perfect landing spot for Danny Wolf as he is a big bodied center that we need. 7-0 250 with range from 3. His body needs a little work and he needs a little more explosiveness ( See Fletch) He’s looking for a strong educational institution. ✔️ there as well. Maybe not to the level as Duke and Northwestern but a degree from Illinois isn’t exactly chopped liver. Illinois needs a big bodied center to match up with the sizeable centers in the Big 10 and on the national scene. . He has areas in his game reminiscent of both CH and DD. Not sure if there is interest but oh man I hope there is.

Deciphering Indy Illini fan’s posts the past two days brings possible great news for the Illini Nation.

The way I read into it is this: 1.) Booth liked his visit and liked Boswell and would entertain the idea of committing. 2.) A possible hire for the new AC is Coach Adam Cohen who will come over from Xavier and opening up the door for the recruiting of Donte Maddox.

Cohen has a proven track record and system in developing point guards. Hello Boswell.

National Title next year?
Boswell + Booth + Cohen + Maddox = Profit

Anyone else extremely glad we’ve moved off Storr? Everyone was coming after me when I said he was only in it for the money and not an EDG but now that he’s not going to Illinois all of a sudden you all agree lol

@FI_8905 seems to be pretty plugged in as well. Especially when it comes to bad news (I don’t intend that as a slight in anyway, and hope it isn’t read as such).

@stuemke5 Is another that seemed to share information early, if I recall.
We also need to give the proper respect to @sharpshot16 and @marvin1991 Both seem to be quite dialed into the program and share their info when they are able.

I've been watching, posting (old dead account), etc. on this board for years and it's always the same. People hang on every word from the insiders and fail to recognize the volatility of the situation. We should have enough information now that whenever someone says Brad is cooking, the only thing we need to know is when dinner is ready because it's going to be delicious one way or another.

But, Brad’s cottage cheese lasagna is terrible. Prairie Farms puts his to shame. Think he got the recipe from…
