Mgbako: Who cares? And he will at least be out of the Big Ten.

Lee: Michigan seems to always do well with transfers from the Ivy League. Michigan is always bragging about its academics. I think that Illinois should be bragging about it's better (imho) about academics. Wolf would've been a great fit on the 24-25 Illini team. Likewise, Lee could've been the perfect fit on the 25-26 Illini team.

Providence: Bailey and Sellers would both have been really good players for the Illini. Is PC offering that much money to these recruits? I know for Sellers that it was his role (6th man?) with the Illini that was problematic. But did Illinois even make an effort to recruit Bailey? He would've been a great fit at starting PF for the Illini.

Is Kostic athletic? Is he strong? Is he a knock-down shooter? Does he make 3s at a high percentage? How is his defense? Is he good in the pick and roll? In effect, can you give m/use a scouting report on this kid?? In your opinion, would he start next season for the Illini? Thanks in advance.

We talk about getting old and staying old but the only interest we seem to be getting is from Euros and mostly 18yo. I’d take Sarr for sure but need experienced US college players. So frustrating.

Word was down here on KSR that the day after the Tennessee loss, Auburn was in contact with a 2 million dollar offer. They don't seem to worried about him leaving down here though. Highly doubt he goes portaling

Sure “strong team” & another non third weekend appearance. Why can’t we build a truly elite team with all the resources this program has?

That’s your take on me predicting a “strong team?” The whole point of me claiming it’s entertaining is because people are already panicking. It’s funny to me.

I certainly think we can be back in the Sweet 16 & Elite next year. From there, you’ve got to be extremely good which is difficult for anyone. Start getting there more often and from there and break through.


I’m not on board with your assumption that we can’t build an elite team.
