Think BU could pry some guys from Parkland / Millikin / ISU?

They're missing on all of their domestic portal targets/transfers, but can bring over young international players? There are a couple of reasons why Illinois is recruiting so hard in Europe.
One of the reasons is good, and the other one isn’t.
Naw the ABA is pretty good (though still a step below high-major NCAA basketball). Probably at the low end of top 10-ten leagues worldwide. The Montenegro Erste league is probably on the low end of European leagues. That's weird, what I read suggested the opposite (Edit: just looked this up again and can't find what I was reading earlier)
ABA league co-exists alongside other scaled down leagues in Bosnia & Herzogovina
He played 25 minutes per game in both leagues so its not like he rode the pine in ABA and then was sent to this other league and played more
He played like 3 games in an U19 league, maybe that's what you're thinking of?
Anyway shooting percentages are volatile and the rest of his stats were similar otherwise, not sure we can glean much from it anyway
C is where the issue lies, IMO.Hmmm…that sounds ominous and makes my head spin.
Good:
Fundamentally sound players available that aren’t awestruck by Blue Blood schools?
Bad:
A.) Brad and staff losing credibility on being able to coach effectively?
B.) Brad gaining a reputation for being inflexible and petty with those who speak out against Tyler and Hamer’s strategy and tactics?
C.) We actually don’t have very much money for NIL relative to our peers this year and foreign players are more economical?
D.) Foreign players don’t have the same visceral disgust reflex when seeing their coaches wear leggings?
I think it’s that Sarr is climbing the draft boards, see my post from first page about him going to Nike summitThey're missing on all of their domestic portal targets/transfers, but can bring over young international players?
Assuming that's the gist?

Top 12 basketball leagues in the world outside the NBA

Reminder: After Monday using regular NIL to recruit players will be more difficult. Illinois’s budget will shrink which is why the lack of action is concerning. Illinois will be fine but the chances of reeling in a big fish after Monday goes down
More regulation on NIL deals greater than $600. Still doable but could make it more of a challenge
You guys that call Morez MJ must be youngins because there's only one MJ and it ain't Morez JohnsonSo White to Kansas and MJ to Michigan. Already a couple of swings and misses on our top transfer targets and Hamer rumored to still be on the staff. Real effing great! Terrible start to transfer portal season.
KU is where he originally committed before going to USCWhy? Late in the year, he was really effective for us. Very personable kid. Maybe KU was/is a dream school for him? Why not go?
Probably related to Sarr going to the NBA instead of college. Is this related to a current Illini player?
Explain, please.Reminder: After Monday using regular NIL to recruit players will be more difficult. Illinois’s budget will shrink which is why the lack of action is concerning. Illinois will be fine but the chances of reeling in a big fish after Monday goes down
I love how this place is always one barely relevant news story away from full on implosion lol
