on a visit to UGA. we cant even get in over UGA?
I repeatedly got the sense that the staff was telling him to stop thinking and shoot the ball. It felt like they coached the "play basketball" right out of him.He doesn’t know when to stop of the staff tells him to keep chucking…
At minimum he’s gotta have a wildly quick hook if he misses a few early.
Does it?Roster still has so many holes in terms of just being able to compete in the top 8 of th B1G let alone being a tournament team.
Omg, get this garbage out of here.
If Ben Humrichous plays 15 mpg, shoots 48% from the field and 40% from 3 and plays the game like Jack, I’ll buy you your favorite bottle of whisky and send it with a handwritten apology.
Which unfortunately is most nights. He shot us out of some games last year … These 3 really stick out in my mind …
1-9 against NW … Lost in OT
0-7 against Nebraska … Lost in OT
0-6 against MSU … Lost by 15
And he went 0-4 from 3 against Xavier in the tourney …
I don’t think he’s a bad shooter and I’ve seen him make a bunch in practice … He just doesn’t know when to stop shooting when it isn’t his night …
Hum Brick House at a discount is better than Miller for over a million dollars though….
10/10What’s a discount ?
Is Ben worth 3/4 of what Ace is ? I’d say no … Also two different positions …
Monsanto costs half of what Ben costs … Is that worth it ? IMO - In a freaking heartbeat …
Mason Gillis would like a minute with you.
Of course it’s a unique case, he was the most hyped recruit since… ever. The fact that he’s a unique case might have had something to do with why I posed the question.Unique case. For one thing his shoe deal would swamp what his college was paying him.
5 went to SmithSaying painter is doing good with little NIL must not be so true since Smith, Loyer and Kaufman are getting 12 million between them as reported yesterday.
His overall numbers:Which unfortunately is most nights.
We aren’t getting Jackson. IMO the rest of this off season depends on if we land Sarr or not. He is a huge missing piece of our current roster.USC is involved heavily with Jackson and rumor is he’s taking an SEC visit soon …
So he’s visited St. John’s, Georgia, and who else?Ian Jackson at Georgia right now. Illinois hoping to get him on campus next.
To paraphrase Moneyball "If he's a good shooter, then why doesn't he shoot good?"Bingo … Bigger stage … Brighter lights …
He cost us wins … If those 6 games are wins how different does the season look ? It’s obviously not just Ben contributing to wins or losses but if he shot 40% like many on here suggest he can do … I’d be willing to bet half of those at minimum aren’t losses …
