Look at Embid...he is a distributor and hits a mid range shot consistently. He is serviceable at arc, but doesn't live there.
I think a high post Illini-Kofi distributing to driving or 3p shooting guards or Kofi hitting a midrange jumper would expand his game.
Small tweaks to our offense would give Kofi chance to show another side that appeals to NBA.

If Kofi wants to improve his jump shot and perimeter game, great. However, I don’t know if BU would change up his offense (which worked very well last season) to allow Kofi to get more outside shots. All the coaches want to help their players achieve their (the players) highest goal(s), but the head coach’s job is to win a championship. Personally, I don’t see BU putting his 7’0, 285 lb center around the perimeter to make him more marketable to the NBA. If Kofi hits a lot of shots in practice, maybe. But I am having a hard time envisioning that coming together.
