Brady also has 10 Super Bowls, Bears 2
It goes back further than that. The Packers have shockingly little to show for 29 straight years of HoF QB play.
Just comparing Brady to my team. Obvious point agreed.Well yes. Brady being 10-4 in conference championship games would imply that Brady will have played in 10 Super Bowls.
No way the Lions would trade him to another NFC North team.I really think we need to find a trade package for Stafford.
I thought it looked like Rogers could have run it in on third down. Also what about the bonehead decision to kick a field goal there to get within five points? That last series (as well as another series where they got 1st and goal) by Rodgers and the Packers offense was poor. It felt like they were forcing the plays unnecessarily.
Also, as great as Rodgers is, to be 1-4 in Conference Championship Games isn't a good look.
Maybe a three team trade? Just hoping. It happens, rarely. No way the Lions would trade him to another NFC North team.
More likely Stafford to 49ers, 49ers release Garoppolo, Garoppolo signs with Bears.Maybe a three team trade? Just hoping. It happens, rarely.
I think he ends up with Denver, Indy, or New England.More likely Stafford to 49ers, 49ers release Garoppolo, Garoppolo signs with Bears.
I've found the recent infusion of statistics into sports fascinating. Certain ones I put more stock into others as I have a hard time believing that you can capture enough data to get a worthwhile result (like win probability based on certain calls in a football game).I thought it looked like Rogers could have run it in on third down. Also what about the bonehead decision to kick a field goal there to get within five points?
All possible, and if Stafford had a choice, I’m sure he’d pick Indy, a playoff caliber team that just needs a QB. He’d fit right into Rivers’ vacated spot and the team wouldn’t miss a beat.I think he ends up with Denver, Indy, or New England.
Bears need to upgrade the offensive line or it doesn't matter who we have at quarterback because they won't be successful! The battles are won in the trenches! You see how Rodgers looked yesterday when his line couldn't protect him. (The MVP) of the NFL according to most. I don't see how they could fairly measure any of the quarterbacks ability with the offensive line we've had the past two years!More likely Stafford to 49ers, 49ers release Garoppolo, Garoppolo signs with Bears.
I think they found something with Mustipher at center. If they get Daniels back at one guard and with Whitehair at the other, that’s a solid young interior to the line.Bears need to upgrade the offensive line or it doesn't matter who we have at quarterback because they won't be successful! I agree... we should have addressed the line last draft but didn't until the way later rounds. I just hate the narrative about the quarterback in Chicago who has very little experience compared to players like Stafford, Rodgers, etc., and has to play behind one of the worst lines in the NFL hands down. Foles even stated that he knew plays that were called by Nagy would not work before they even attempted to run them because they wouldn't have enough time to execute. That's ridiculous. And media blame it all on the quarterback who can't block for himself to give him time to throw and the receivers time to run the routes to get open and gain separation, or for the running back to gain yards and hit a hole. That's why I think Beilema is going to help here, because he is going to focus on that! Which will make our offense and defense way better!I think they found something with Mustipher at center. Tackle is a disaster. But those should be fixable with upper mid round draft picks and/or relatively modest free agent signings.
Finding a better QB is going to be much more difficult.
I Googled two more, but won’t take credit...I can think of two.
Delaware - Biden/Flacco
Michigan - Ford/Brady
My initial thought was the Rams gave up way too much but then I realized they had to because of the Lions taking on Goff’s contract.
