All things considered, it's actually kind of impressive the Bears didn't get blown out in this one. Especially considering all the issues they had going into it. Now they get a Seattle team that it ends up will be coming into the game on a shorter week than the Bears will.

Was at the game last night and it had less energy than the pre season game vs the Dolphins this year.

South lot ended up filling up eventually but way later than usual, there was no traffic getting in, the gates were not crowded at all got inside from the South lot to my seats in 15 minutes (it is usually a nightmare). There were Viking fans EVERYWHERE, the guy i share tickets with said the 49ers game was almost 50/50 niners fans.

Apathy is fully setting in. Thank goodness for Fields now lets get him a coach and a guy who understands the talent he needs around him.

I wonder if professional football is fun for fans of other teams. 🙃

Nick Foles starting Sunday. The only healthy QB left on the roster

Yep. Fields had ankle injury coming out of Monday and Dalton's groin injury flared up after he came back from covid protocol. Fields is a game time decision to even be the backup on Sunday.

They do have a practice squad QB that they just signed last week named Ryan Willis. He's an undrafted rookie out of Virginia Tech that was the MVP of The Spring League championship game earlier this year.

This works out great for Foles...isn't he up for a new contract..I expect a good game from him.

One cool story I've seen this week involves the Rams. RB Cam Akers, who tore his Achilles over the summer, will be part of the 53 man gameday roster this week and the rest of the regular season. He's not expected to play until the postseason at the earliest but him being part of the active roster is important for one reason. If he is on the active roster for at least 3 games, then he gets a pension credit for his retirement once his career is over. Really classy move by the Rams organization.

That series of play calls inside the ten on the Bears second series might be the worst this season. Nagy might be brain dead.

Unless the defense can score a touchdown I don’t see how the Bears can get to 17 points so I guess this game is over with Seahawks up 17-7 at half.

And as has happened often this year, when the Bears do score a td to make it close, the defense gives up a quick and easy scoring drive.
