Bears up 27-21 at half. Except for a couple hiccups late in the 1st half, defense has actually played pretty decent. Offense has had a couple of drives where they looked really good. And who would have figured that we'd get a special teams TD.

Is there a reason Allen Robinson is on the roster? He gets fewer looks than Jimmy Graham.

Fields doesn't realize that open for Robinson is different than it is for most receivers. That plus the fact that Fields got a chance to develop chemistry a lot more with Mooney in the preseason.

Matt Nagy spent all of training camp giving Dalton all of the #1 reps because he thought keeping Fields as his ace in the hole and winning just enough games with Dalton was his ticket to keep his job. The Bears allowing this to happen is exactly why they are a disaster of an organization.

4th and inches, near midfield, down by 11 against the Bears rival. Nagy chooses to punt.

I just can't wrap my head around the decision to punt there. What do you have to lose? Not like the defense was stopping them anyway.

Another juggernaut performance by the offense with 20 points (7 came on the punt return).

If I recall that was the one with the semi-controversial out-of-bounds penalty after the muffed punt by GB. I saw commentary complaining about the penalty, but less so about the terrible decision to punt in the first place.

Does this mean we will have to listen to him on some college football pregame show next year? I hope not.

Don't like the idea of them poaching our candidates for coach... it would seem we would be looking at the same coaches, we both need someone to develop our rookie QBs.

All 3 Bears coordinators (Lazor, Desai, and Tabor) went in covid protocols today.

6 players went in covid protocol today with notable ones being Allen Robinson, Eddie Jackson, Ryan Nall, and Jesse James.

And the Chargers Head Coach kept going for it on 4th down, because #analytics, what a buffoon. It made me think immediately of the outcry that came when Bielema didn't go for it on 4th down (except opposite, of course).

I'm not anti-analytics, but why the hell are you chasing points when you're either down less than two touchdowns or even ahead. He takes one of those FG opportunities and they might win that game, he takes two of them and they definitely win.

Add him to the list of overpaid NFL coaches that obviously aren't that bright. Did anyone notice that the coach that actually took the points when given the opportunity actually ended up WINNING the game because....they ended up with more POINTS than the opposition! Wow, what a concept, score more points than the other team and WIN! And his thinking that, "Where my mindset is, I know the quickest way to win the game is to score touchdowns not field goals, especially considering who is on the other side." That tells me that he has no confidence in his defense at all from the onset of the game to begin with. What a buffoon is right.
