I really don’t understand going for it on fourth and four there. Looks like Foles could have run for it though.

Probably means nothing in the long run but hard fought win for the Bears. Now get ready for big tilt against the Giants next week.

Bears reporter Jeff Dickerson has passed away. One of the best in the business. The world lost a great one today.

My heart breaks for his son who has lost both parents to cancer in a span of two years. I can’t even begin to imagine what he’s going through. Terrible, terrible news.

Just awful. Everyone who worked with him, loved him. Prayers to his son. I can’t even imagine.

Now John Madden has passed away. The hits keep on coming.

RIP. Sad day for the NFL.
Damn, that's right after Fox did that special on Christmas Day.

I grew up knowing Madden from the football series (started early in the series, but still) and it made it easy to view him as a bit of a caricature. But the man knew his football and the NFL is lesser today than yesterday with his passing.

And he passed away at the same hospice facility his wife passed away at 2 years ago when she was fighting melanoma.

Great thing about Dickerson is that he wasn't gonna sugarcoat thing for Bears fans. He was going to tell you exactly how he felt and wasn't afraid to confront team management when he had to, but not by making a show of it.

For those who want to donate, there is a GoFundMe that has been set up for Dickerson's son by Dickersons' sister-in-law: https://www.gofundme.com/f/kswtf-parkers-fund

What a shame. Very sorry for his son.

I miss John. His insight made me fall in love with the game that I had already been following for years. I compare every other color commentator to him. They all pale by comparison. Ever. Single. One. I know it's not fair but I do it anyway.
