We need an Urlacher for that.I'm cautiously optimistic about the hire.
The biggest change on defense is going to be the shift back to 4-3. If Eberflus does end up running a Lovie version of Tampa 2, that puts Roquan likely in the Lance Briggs role of the will linebacker.
Struggling to excited about this. At least it wasn't Caldwell I guess.Well, nevermind.
Sounds like Packers QB coach and passing game coordinator Luke Getsy is the Bears new OC. Don't know much about this guy but anything to weaken the Packers is fine with me.
I did like Olin Kruetz's suggestion late last week that if Getsy got hired, he should consider bringing Luke Butkus (who was the assistant O-line coach) with him to be o-line coach. That's a moot point now though as it looks like Butkus got promoted up to o-line coach after the previous o-line coach got promoted up to the OC in Green Bay.
Eberflus' acronyms and coachspeak and talk of toughness and effort sure sounded familiar. Can't think of where I heard that though....For those who didn't get a chance to see it earlier today, here is Poles and Eberflus' introductory press conference:

Cheering for Eberflus' success, but it's another bland hire for the fanbase.
This dropped quite literally after my post, but hell yes, good for Flores. Not sure if your post was with this in mind: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/01/sports/football/brian-flores-giants-discrimination-lawsuit.html
Regardless...woof. And good for Brian Flores
